  • I don't run much anymore but I am needing to get into shape so anyone wanting another friend, feel free to add me. All motivation helps :)
  • I'm here.. I'm late to the party but I made it! Have been recovering from a rolled ankle and pulled my knee cap off track but I'm back to running 5k so just happy I'm back at it! I've got 103km up for June.. Hoping to make it past 200km for the month!
  • I'm just over 200km for the year.. have come down with a throat infection and am calling today and tomorrow rest days. Hopefully I'll be right for a trail run on Sunday!
  • Not much time to catch up at the moment sorry.. Kids are on holidays still. Trying to get km's in where I can. Aim is to get 38+ km's each week to hit my goal of 2019km for the year. I'm raising money walking & running the 2019km for the Cancer Council to help better support cancer patients and their families. I figure if…
  • @Orphia @Avidkeo and @Kimtrooper yep I'm in Brisbane, Aus ☺
  • Hi all, I used to post here a few years ago, not sure why I stopped but hope you'll have me back! 2018 was a really crappy year for me as I lost my Dad to bowel cancer. I stopped runni g for a few months after as I used to run to help deal with his treatments and stress. Once he passed I felt like I didn't know how to run…
  • Steps are not less in challenges for some reason (everyone in same time zone). Versa Bluetooth dropping out, being told my phone can no longer find the device. Anyone else havi g issues?
  • Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great Christmas with family & friends! Just seeing if the January Challenge has been put up yet?
  • Anyone still not having Fitbit suyncing properly? It’s picking up my steps but no calorie burn..
  • I found the thread... http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2909540-fitbit-sync-issue
  • So while studying I have let my running frequency slow down over the last 5 months.. I ran the odd 5k here and there but no set days each week etc and at an easy pace. I signed up to do the 14km race around the city (city 2 south) a few weeks ago on a whim and started training, mainly just doing a 10km run once a week and…
  • May 2017 Total was 108 km. Happy with that! :)
  • Has been a few months since I entered the challenge. I know we're half way through the month but I hope I can still jump in. I'm up to 58.44 km this month. No set goal to reach. Just using the challenge for motivation. I've got a 14km race in a few weeks and have a chest infection/asthma at the moment so taking it easy.…
  • I am just starting out... I can run distance okay but pretty weak otherwise. It can be pretty intimidating! I am mostly sticking to weight machines at the moment, though my trainer has me on a few things at the other end of the weights room when it is not packed and if I'm comfortable on the day.. So I'm getting there! Add…
  • Feb goal = 280,000 01/2- 18,774......18,774
  • Thank you! ☺
  • Shoes feel like they are lacking in cushioning under the balls of my toes.. Hurts to put put pressure on the my toes when I push off while running and after a run. Anyone had this?
  • Got to get back into training for the half in July. Only running 7-10km a week at the moment.. a lot happening but there shouldn't be any excuses! I have a 10km fun run this Sunday.. and a 14km fun run in 2 weeks so better start getting serious!

  • Heya, my parents got my shoes off layby for me yesterday - Brooks Vapor 2... Haven't broken them in as yet but can't wait!! lol They feel super comfy running up and down the hallway  Just a question... How different does everyone find treadmill running to outdoors running? A friend wants me to go to the gym with her…
  • We all have 'those' runs! I put it down to pushing myself too hard or not resting enough. If I head out on a long run and my legs still aren't moving easy after 4-5k, then I call it a day and head home. Next run, I absolutely smash it  Be easy on yourself x
  • That looks really cool! Do you do all of your stretches at the same height then or do you change the height of the band with each exercise?
  • That's a fantastic goal pace! I've often wondered about the marathon cut off times! Can't wait for cooler weather!!!

  • Thanks @Orphia @Becky_44 @5BeautifulDays @Elise4270 @GBrady43068  The thought of heading out to do 21k was really daunting, so I broke it down.. Told myself I will just run 10km.. Then when I got there, told myself I could do 2k more.. then another 2k etc. I found this to be a great way to get through it, rather…
  • Oh my gosh you are fast!! Wow! I struggle to get a sub 30 5k time! Very cool! Congratulations on first in your age group too!!
  • Sorry to hear about your cousin @joinn68 It's a very difficult time losing someone to it. Too many are affected by cancer..A few of my family have had melanoma. My father is just starting treatment for cancer, too - Most of the time I run for the release as I can't cope otherwise, it's far too emotional! A few relatives…
