Thank you so much everyone! I weigh myself weekly, I'll start daily to see how that's going. As for exercise calories, I eat back about 75% already. I don't think my fitness tracker is extremely accurate (aka, it's old as dirt), so I lean on the side of caution there. As for my cycles, I'm right in the middle right now. I…

Thanks ladies! Do you think a fitness watch of some sort would help? I feel like if I could monitor how many calories I burn while working, it would probably make this more simplified.

Thank you! I'm currently without insurance, but as soon as I get another policy - I'm RUNNING to a nutritionist and my family doctor!

My TDEE - 20% is 1,785.6 calories. Still higher than what MFP has set for me. :/ This is all confusing for me.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to try increasing my calories to 1,500 a day and see how that goes for awhile. I also plan on eating more protein, since I've noticed it definitely helps curb the hunger throughout the day. I'm also going to try saving the majority of my calories for the afternoon, like vismal suggested. It's…

Not wearing any! Just got out of the shower and enjoying a little nudey time.

Hello everyone! I'm Karissa, 19, married, and needing to loose around 120 lbs.I'm a body piercing apprentice, foster mom to stray kitties, and soon to be a mortuary science student. I've been overweight for a larger part of my late teens years. I've been down this road a few times- using MFP, losing weight, then giving up…

I have the same problem - starting then falling off the wagon. The best thing I've learned to do is not overwhelming myself. Start small, then build up to larger goals. I noticed with my own experience that when I started, I was on a 1,200 diet, exercising no less than 60 minutes a day, really making sure I was drinking my…

When I first started dieting, it seemed incredibly easy not to over eat. If I got too "hungry" (bored), I would go smoke. Usually by the time I was finished smoking, the need to shovel chips into my face was gone. Any emotions that I was use to eating were then replaced by the onset of cancer. Healthy, right? Every now and…

Thank you, OP! My husband and I are extremely anxious to try this recipe!

Thanks guys! I'll stick to my 64 oz for now, I'll try to up my intake once I get back into my exercise routine :)

Thanks, OP!

I invested in a lot of stretchy clothes and clothes that are meant to appear baggy, like tights and over sized sweaters. Also, as others have stated, thrift stores are your friend and clothing exchange groups on Facebook sometimes work. Good luck, OP!

I didn't smile enough.

Once a week my husband and I order pizza, and I don't eat anything else but the pizza all day long... and it's totally worth it. I get to maintain my deficit and maintain my sanity.
-
Any sort of chip... I can't eat a few then stop - I eat the whole dang bag. Edited to add: Any sort of fast food sets me off, too. Except for pizza, I can take it easy with that. Anything else (especially Chinese take out) and it's all over but the crying.

Don't weight yourself when your muscles are sore (at least I've heard you shouldn't... not sure if broscience or not), drink enough water, and weigh everything you eat. If that doesn't help, increase the amount of calories you're eating and go from there. It appears that someone else has already included the link to Sexy…

Friendly, but definitely not someone I'd want to fight with!

Yes! Last winter wasn't too fun, everything was frozen... including my sidewalk. Have you ever participated in a "polar plunge"?
-
It's kind of hard to explain. It's a fundraising event to help raise awareness and funds for starving children in other parts of the world. Google could probably give you a better idea than I can :embarassed: And nope! Have you ever tried walking more than three dogs at once?
-
No, but it sounds intriguing. Have you ever participating in the 30 hour famine?
-
No Have you ever made a home cooked meals for local homeless shelters?
