I think it should be at sedentary, that's what mines at. I'm a stay at home mom with a 17 month old who keeps me running around but I wouldn't call it actually active. I run 30-40 miles a week but most of the day, I'm sedentary. That's the point I think... Hope it helps!

All this talk about ice cream is making me want some!! I love fudgesicles! lol! =)

I don't think I've ever had Ben & Jerry's ice cream! Apparently, that's good after seeing what all of you are writing. If it's that good, I'd probably never put it down... lol Congrats on only eating some of it! Sweet stuff is always hard to stop eating.

I weigh myself everyday but only really pay attention to my weekly weigh in. If I gain a little weight from one day to the next I know it's no big deal. Some people can't do that though since they get discouraged. If you hate seeing the numbers fluctuate then only weigh yourself once a week. I'm so curious though, I like…

I'd say, even if that is true, use them as free calories burned! I can't imagine it's enough that you'd be depriving your body by not eating the extra calories. Although, it would be tempting since I'm always more hungry at that time...

Thanks ladies! A 10k is no small feet so congratulations! It's always a challenge to lose that last 10-20 pounds so good luck to all of us working together to get it gone for good! =)

If nothing's happening, I'd definitely try eating more of your calories! Especially if you've been misjudging (underestimating) your calorie intake. You've probably been undereating for a while now. I know it sounds counter-productive but I try to eat as many of my workout calories as possible. Not necessarily all of them,…

My biggest meal is usually dinner. I find that if I eat too much for breakfast I end up eating a lot throughout the day, and it's very easy for me to go over in my calories. I do eat 3 meals and 3 snacks though so I feel like I'm almost always eating something! My workout is also between breakfast and lunch so I don't want…

If your doctor says 118 then I'd say go for that. You'll know as you get closer to your goal whether or not you need to adjust it. You may find that when you get to 120 you're very happy with the way you look. You may not, and you'll continue on. In the end, you just need to be healthy, and happy with the way you look.…

You will love it! I think the 5k is a perfect first race. It's not to far but far enough where you feel such pride crossing that finish line! You will run many more for sure! I do several a year because they're so addicting and easy to come by! Eventually, you'll do longer races... It's inevitable! haha =) Good luck and…

I'd say... If you're waking up at 7 and not exercising for a couple of hours you should definitely eat something, even if it's just a banana. That would be a lot of time between meals. I love eating 1T peanut butter on toast or a waffle an hour or so before my workouts. Going all night without eating and then waiting until…
