I'm 5'8" and have reached my goal at about 145 lbs and a size 4 (though a bit loose). The smallest I've been was 130-135 lbs a few years ago when I would never work out and was definitely more "skinny fat". My clothes actually fit the same if not better now that I do work out, so definitely relative to body fat %, and I…

Diet changes have worked for me too. I follow a paleo type diet and eat no gluten or red meat.

The run/walk method helped me start running and is fantastic at helping you keep up your endurance for long distances. I would also suggest running only 3x a week, with rest days in-between, and use a foam roller.

Sounds a lot like endometriosis to me. I was diagnosed a few years ago and a laparoscopy confirmed it. Endo can also cause issues similar to IBS, as well as increase your chances of celiac disease. I also have issues with gluten and found that the "endo diet" helps a lot, which is similar to being a gluten-free vegan, but…

I'm 5'8" as well and would definitely not consider 147lbs big! I do know that after having kids your body gets all sorts of crazy and pants that fit before may not now even if you are smaller! Regardless, your friends sound pretty rude! If you feel good then don't let others bring you down. They are just insecure…

My training is going pretty good. Went on vacation though so that messed up my routine a little bit! I try to workout 2-3x a week and then run 3x a week. Kind of following the Jeff Galloway training plan but started it way earlier. Have you started running for your Tinkerbell run? I wanted to do that one as well but…

I use a thermos for things that I want to stay cool. They have the ones that are rated for 8 hours or so. Just put the opened thermos in the freezer for 10 minutes or so before putting your cold food in it and it will stay cold all day!

I'm doing the Rebel Challenge. I haven't run in a while, just working out at home so I will be busy training the next 7 months! I am really excited for January. =)
