I find by eating a small breakfast, I actual eat less for lunch and throughout the day because I'm not starving when lunch time hits. It is really hard to say. There could also be a difference in the calibration of the two scales. I know when I've weighed myself on different scales, I got different readings. The research I've done on low carb dieting would indicate low carb eating is primarily good for sedentary lifestyles. If you are a runner, you should eat carbs before your work outs.

How old are your running shoes? Maybe you need a new pair - they may be too big. Some times when we lose weight, our feet shrink as well. I may be way out there...but it's just a thought.
