I use a heart rate monitor and enter it as cardio.

Day 7 and life is going great. I bumped up to level 2 today but I don't think I am quite ready for that. I am going back to level 1 tomorrow.

Day four and I  it

Sat through an entire meeting yesterday and didn't have one piece of candy. I have cake and pizza to get through this afternoon and then I'll be home free because I am off tomorrow! I  this feeling of control

AWESOME!

I agree. It would be extremely rude and inappropriate for you to make that kind of call just because it is easier for you. Part of what has to happen for EVERYONE who struggles with their weight is getting CONTROL! We had pizza and pop at work yesterday that was purchased by the bosses for everyone and I simply took my…

Divide your plate into four sections. In once section, place your protein, in another a fruit, in another a veggie and the last one a whole grain of some kind. You can also opt for two sections of veggies and skip the whole grain.

I use Stevia and love it. I buy the individual packets that are vanilla flavored for my coffee. I have also used regular Stevia to make ice cream. I can't use Splenda because it gives me a headache!

I have been following my doctor supervised program and I am starting to feel great. I  this whole low carb thing!

Day number of the shred. Feeling great. I always say that getting through the 3rd day is the hardest so hopefully I've put myself in a good position to keep going. I was a little concerned about the weekend because we are going out of town, but I am just going to take my laptop and my dvd and do it while we are traveling.…

Me as well! I would like to try for more, but I would settle for 20 pounds!

I just had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and you aren't going to want to be doing any serious cardio because it will be AWFULLY uncomfortable. Go for walk or do some light stretching. I had a hard time finding something to eat that didn't cause me agony so I think you'll be alright!

Day two of the 30 day Shed down! I am feeling GREAT!

I still drink coffee as well. I use Stevia, but I used the vanilla kind that comes in the packets like sweet-n-low. It is really good. I might also add a bit of half-and-half to it if we are eating out!

Yep, just this weekend. I at a coffee cup full of cookie dough and was MISERABLE when it was gone. My heart of racing and my skin was bloated. It was awful. Now that I think about it, it didn't really taste that great either!

Your post makes me laugh because my boyfriend told me that I had stop where my baggy jeans because he wanted to see my nice butt.

I am doing a version of Ideal Protein and we recently have been required to read the New Atkins book. I started the Induction a week ago and lost 1.2 pounds. I will tell you that my body is slow to responding to low carb but once I get rolling, I lose like nobody's business.

I definitely use a HRM: It is much more accurate!

I would just be honest. If you want to stay at home and enjoy some quiet time then do that. My boyfriend and I stayed home last Christmas instead of going to my parent's house. It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We just told my family that we wanted to stay at home and we did. I don't think offering excuses is the right thing to…

I lost 64 pounds 10 months and then gained 29 back over the summer.

I have found that planning helps keep me on track and limits my desire to stray to the "dark" side (process refined icky foods). I have been HORRIBLE about planning lately and I think that is why I have gained some weight back. Thanks for your post to help me get myself back on track, too!

I lost 64 and gained 29 back so I am in this for the duration. I am looking to loose between 80 and 100 total.

You are amazing! What an inspiration:smile:

I have had a very stressful 6 months. During that time I have adopted the motto: Head down, mouth shut, my four walls. Unless something directly pertains to someone I love or myself, I just simply let go and let God.

I think you have to ask yourself what you want for yourself in the future. If you have dreams of being married then you have a decision to make as it is fairly clear from your post that is not in his future. Another thing that is concerning from your post is the fact that he is content to live with his parents and make no…
