Congrats! 5 days is amazing. I quite 4 years ago on August 25th of this year. I was ready....you have to be ready and WANT to quit. Clearly you do :smile: Keep it up...you've got this!

Are you still doing it? I went 10 days, lost 7 pounds! Took a couple days off and ate some salad and veggies and had a couple drinks for my birthday and just re-started today. The first 3 days were the worst. But then it got easier. My tip is to sip your juices instead of chugging them down and that will help hunger stay…

My mom was telling me that too....that cholesterol isn't as bad as people think. Hers is high also and her dr wanted her on statins but she is refusing and said she will control with her diet and exercise.

Oh I totally think my cholesterol is high due to my weight gain not eating low carb. I was just confused if I should continue to try low carb since my dr wants me to eat low cholesterol and LC is really not. I appreciate all your input and advice!

Mostly leftovers.....steak, beef patties, pork chops with added fats (butter or mayo) Tuna or egg salad made with mayo for fat using plain pork rinds to dip in. All natural hot dogs with mustard. Bacon,mayo and lettuce wraps.

Thanks. I know 2 weeks isn't long. And I know everyone is different but I see so many people losing 5-10 pounds in their first week or 2 that one pound was kinda disappointing. I will keep going and see what happens. Thanks for your advice!

I had some pasta last night and a piece of bread. I feel so bloated. And I was up 3 today, so I know how you feel. I don't know why I did it....like you, I LOVE all the foods I can eat on ZC WOE..so why? Back to it today. You ONLY drink water for a couple days? I don't know if I could do that!
