You are doing awesome and I love the pink! If I didn't work my day job at a boring bank I would do some fun colors too :smiley: I am loving eating this way and so is my hubby...I mean steak and beef most nights for dinner?!?! Who could argue with that...yum!

2 nights ago I ate leftover pizza and then had a taco (on a low carb wrap though, lol However I am doing meat, fat and water only so this was a set back :neutral: I did get right back on the next day so that's a positive!

That is awesome! If I didn't have to drive my son to summer camp...or I didn't live in Florida (it's like 80-90 degrees at 8am!) I would ride a bike to work too. I only live like a mile away!

No....you are not crazy. I am an ex-smoker. I quit 4 years ago and I was ready. That is the key...you have to be ready and want it! And it sounds like you are! You can do this....planning all your days is wonderful because you do have to stay busy so you don't think about it. I had to use the Nicorette gum for a few…

I was going to say the same about gestational diabetes. I have it when I am pregnant and had to eat low carb per my dr. So I don't think it would hurt even if you don't have diabetes. But of course ask your dr first. :smile:

Thank you so much. I guess this first week will be trial and error when they it comes to counting calories. I am committing to 30 days of this to see how it goes! I am very excited. I grilled up ribeyes, hamburgers and chicken thighs last night to get me started!

This is a great post. Thank you for all the tips. I just started today. I think it will be so much easier than low carb or keto....I LOVE all meats, except organ meats. One question....do you also count calories? Because I am finding meats have a lot of calories and it's putting me over by a lot.

Yea....I hear ya. I live in Florida....it's soooo freakin hot and the only way I exercise is outside...walking, biking. I guess we could swim laps!

Low fat cottage cheese, hardboiled eggs, cheese sticks, an apple...I don't snack a lot especially when I have a lot of protein in my meals. That usually keeps me full between meals. And I drink a ton of water!

I can totally relate and am in the process of cutting out alcohol so I can get to a place where 1-3 drinks is fine maybe once or twice a week at most. I think I look less. I am 5'4 and a shameful 160 pounds. I have gained about 30 pounds in the last 6 months. I feel like I look about 140 but my clothes don't show that! Working on getting back on track after a TON of stressful situations the last year or so. I am sick of it and tired of my clothes not fitting and feeling…

I am just getting back too. So I know how you feel. I gained about 10-15 lbs back in the last 2 months. I actually cried the other day when I finally weighed myself. Life is crazy and stressful. But I am back now! Welcome back to you too! We can do this!

I think it's been said but we are all different. I have been on meds for anxiety and depression for years. Eating low carb hasn't changed the way I feel about these particular things and havn't even considered going off my medication.

This is very interesting and I am very sure I am going give this a try. Like you said for 4 weeks straight and see how my body does.
