I prefer glass one, specifically the Anchor Hocking ones that have the easy open tab so I don't rip fingernails. But if you don't want to go that route there are tons of cheap ones in the bag/foil aisle in most grocery stores. I've also found that most stores will have their private label brand in addition to the more…

That Mrs Dash Table Blend is good on everything! Especially chicken.

I'm going to have to say no on this as well. You are responsible for your actions.

I use a mister with olive oil when I roast my vegetables, it adds a few calories but not as much as if you poured oil directly on to the vegetables. I also use garlic or lemon oils to add flavor, you don't have to add too much oil to get a lot of it. I take a pound of cubed potatoes and toss them in the garlic oil with…

They leave it off when you get it catered or to go. I only eat their soup and salad and it is always in packets when I get mine to go. Otherwise it ends up a nasty mess by the time you eat it.

I try to limit myself to two drinks a night, and nothing with a super high calorie mixer. Dry red wine or something on the rocks are my favorites, as I sip those slower. And I have the same issue as keokagal, I will start getting the munchies the more I drink. And usually what is around is super high cal bar foos.

It is attached. It also survived an unexpected bath, just needed to dry out over night.

Totally agree. I also feel the same way about a perfectly grilled chicken breast, those dry out easily.

Second buying a kitchen scale, you can really get off track just eyeballing things. Most meat servings are 4-6 ounces, and most vegetable servings are 3-4 ounces. It will take some trial and error on finding the mix that is right for you that fits in your calorie goal. When I started out I was eating more calorie dense…

Yes! I find that happens more on private label brands.

This is the one I have, it's very accurate but does shut off after three minutes. I've had it for about three years and it has taken a beating. Good lord I need more caffeine! Forgot to add the link:…

I was also going to make a comment about the grinders, hopefully you have one at a grocery store near you. They are very convenient.

Ha! I have wanted to post this so many times. Seriously though, OP, there are tons of websites with tons of recipes out there. Pinterest is also a good resource.

So true! I used to go pick beans out of my grandparents' gardens and to this day I like them raw instead of mushy and cooked.
-
I love the hydroponic lettuce too! Have you tried the bags of sweet butter lettuce? Those are pretty mild as well.

I like that coffee doesn't give me the jitters, so most days I will do either that or high ceffeine tea. I use one of the Citadel preworkouts on days that I have the worst case of drag a##. Those seem to cause the least amount of the jitters and itchy palms.

Oh that sounds good too! Lately I've been on Sprite Zero with Three Olives Cherry Vodka, it's a Dirty Shirley!

That diet root beer is amazing with smirnoff toasted marshmallow vodka

I've been drinking green smoothies for years with fruit and haven't had a problem, maybe they just bothered the person that posted that online. This is usually what is in mine: 85g spinach 15g kale frozen fruit, around 70-85g, today it was strawberries 1/2 large apple, usually around 100g 1 tbs chia seeds 100g cucumber I…

I recently switched out the croutons in my salad with roasted chickpeas. It saves some calories because you don't need too many, and the protein helps keep my blood sugar from spiking. You can definitely make your own, but pre-roasted ones are starting to pop up in grocery stores.

It almost seems like fishing for attention to me, based on some of the other posts.

Blech! I tried the 'Alfredo' and threw the rest of the jar away!

Rice cakes? You could bake your own corn tortilla chips. Like one of the other posters had mentioned, your best option is going to be to go to the grocery store and just look around yourself. You have given us some tight parameters and we really don't know what other things you don't "do."

I saw that you mentioned them after I had posted. Even the part about the inside being under cooked! If we were on the same page enough other people must have been too. We were at Outback about a month ago for the first time in years, so these may have been out for a while, but it still took them a long time to offer it as…

that's what I was talking about, I couldn't remember what the called them.

I love getting one of those rotisserie chickens from the deli, I can get a week's worth of meat for lunch out of that. My deli also has things like turkey, meatloaf and ribs all packed up and ready to go. Today I brought hummus with rice chips and vegetables, and I always like soup. Like the other posters have said,…

The last time I went it was just my husband and I so it was too much for two people. Plus they were always undercooked or completely raw in the middle. Our waiter said that they had onion petals that were fried individually with a smaller portion but that same flavor. It was delicious.

If you eat less calories that you burn while doing paleo, then yes, you will start losing weight. You might or might not start seeing results immediately, everyone is different.

Mmmmm, I love them too. I'm in Texas and they are about to start dropping in the next month or two and I can't wait! I am not sure what advantages they have over other nuts, but I came across this website: http://www.nutrition-and-you.com/pecans.html Looks like it would be a great resource to compare different types of…
