Way to go =) I am always amazed when people can loose weight without counting calories (I have tried but it does not work for me), it sounds like you really listen to your body!

I have I higher calorie allowance but I have found that eating a yogurt and almonds for breakfast is a good start to my day (pretty low calories and almonds will help keep you full) and if you mix in a walk on your lunch break or in the morning/evening you will get a little extra to work with =) also I love 100 cal snacks…

I am not a vegetarian myself but I do support the way of life and am an animal lover. There is no easy way to handle this situation but perhaps a mediator would help? maybe a school counselor? Just be patient and show him respect in the same way you want him to show you love even if he disagrees with your chosen lifestyle.

snacks are my best friend! I love the 100 cal snack packs(there are tones of options)! Almonds are easy to keep on hand, I always have some at work incase I feel like I am dying between meals. Also protein will help keep you full so try to pick things that are high in that =) good luck and remember that tomorrow is a new…

yay!!! I love that feeling! I have a size 10 pair of jeans in my dresser waiting for me to slim down. I have not worn them in about 3 years, right now I wear a size 16-18 depending on the pants

thank you for your words of wisdom. I do want to make myself clear however my husband is a good man who loves me very much and I don't believe he meant to hurt me with his words/laughing. His is not abusive towards. His is my best friend. =)

Very true!

So true!!!

I had never thought about it like that before but very true! Thanks for the words of wisdom!

I have talked to him some and he said that he has seen me try to loose weight before and because it didn't last he does not want to get on board. Your both right it is not necessary to have his support (it would be nice but I am ok without) I just need to keep a good attitude and eventually he will see the results and…

Hey, I am part time student and I work full time as a teller at a bank. I am 23 years old, I do have more to loose than 10 lbs. but I was only 10 lbs. over weight at one point (sure wish I would have taken that 10 lbs. seriously rather than letting it get out of control). I need to loose between 70-75 lbs. to reach my goal…

I have found that brushing my teeth can sometimes help. Something about changing the flavor in my mouth and not wanting to dirty up my nice clean teeth. Also having a plan helps. for example if I feel a binge coming on I plan to start with a 15-20 min walk, when I get home I will eat an apple, then I could take a long bath…

when you guys are talking about hoagies are you talking about the sandwiches?

I'm not much of a Twinkie fan but I go crazy for Zingers! I know they are pretty similar but The frosting makes them sooo much better and I feel like the cake is more moist.

I tend to look at over eating to be very similar to alcoholism. Alcoholics lie all the time "I don't have a problem", "I can stop whenever I want", "this will be the last time I ever drink and then I am done". The truth is the alcoholic will not stop drinking until they want to, no matter how much friends and family will…

I often find that although I really do think I am hungry the truth is I just want more food (due to taste or boredom). I have found that taking time between servings helps. If I eat my meal but still feel hungry I wait 10-20 min before going in search for more food. If I do end up eating more I make it something healthy…

I tend to be more hungry in the evenings so I eat low calorie foods most of the day so I can eat pretty much what ever I want for dinner. I do cereal for breakfast (like honey nut cheerio's or oatmeal), I eat fruit on my breaks at work, and have a prepackaged frozen meal for lunch (like a lean cuisine). If I eat like this…

I hear what you are saying. My husband stops drinking and does a little walking and the weight just falls off. I have to work hard for every pound I lose (mean while he sits in front of me eating all my favorite junk food). But take pride in knowing you have earned every pound you lose, you worked HARD for it!!! Also, if…
