  • I used to go to snap fitness and I liked it. I stopped going because life got busy and physical fitness got put on the back burner. We have since moved and do not have one in my area. I'm currently going to planet fitness.
  • I understand your struggle. I think about food more often than I like as well. Since I have restarted my weight loss journey 20 days ago, I have found guided meditations (YouTube) to be very helpful in get my mind off of food. Brushing your teeth can help too (the flavor of the toothpaste plus the idea of, "I can't eat…
  • Right now.. my aching legs and feet! Lose some weight and get fit... maybe they will not hurt so much! Side note: I have recently discovered guided meditations work really well for me when I want to stress eat.
  • Hello! I just turned 30 this month but I swear I feel much older! Since rejoining MFP I have lost 10 lbs. I am specifically working on drinking enough water each day and and watching my calories/macros.
  • I want to fit into my work out clothes again! I put on the shorts recently to wear underneath a skirt and they might as well have been underwear. :D
  • Sliced cucumber topped with tuna and a drop of sriracha!
  • I have read that you burn more calories during PMS than other times. You could try to look at it like your cycle is helping you?... or treat yourself to a small treat since PMS sucks?
  • I'm newly returned after getting off track. I had developed a bad self-image. Whenever I thought about myself I would picture someone twice my size. I am obese but not nearly as big as I allowed my thoughts to dwell on. After eating better for only a few days and being a little more active I have noticed I am picturing…
  • I had one... not sure if there is a way to report it. I just deleted it.
  • Thank you! I just wanted to throw out that my profile pic has not been updated in a long while. I have since then stopped using the app and gained a bunch of weight back and then some. I am just starting back. I do really appreciate your feedback!

  • Your doing great!!! Keep going :) It all adds up! You could also think of it like,"if I was not working out and eating well I probably would have gained a pound this week".
  • I am down to 2 cups of coffee a day! It's a big deal for me ;)
  • My weight has fluctuated soooo much the past 5 years or so. Between moving, having kids, being in school, general life drama... I'm just starting back myself, today is day 5 for me. I have come to realize I have a food addiction. If I am not watching what I eat I WILL slip back into my old habits and I WILL gain the weight…
  • I am in the same situation! Luckily I only gained a few pounds over the holidays but my old bad habits have started creeping back in. I have been saving enough calories to allow myself a treat at the end of the day as a reward for staying on track.
  • This past Sunday I wore a pair of size 12 pants that have not fit me in several years. They were still a bit tight but man it felt good! I am going to make it my Sunday routine to try them on as motivation until they fit more comfortably. But being able to get them on at all is huge for me!!
  • Not sure if I would say I have fallen off the wagon, but i am certainly not eating the way I was a month ago. I am still eating in moderation and some of the healthy habits I picked up have stuck with me, so luckily my weight has only gone up a pound or two. I am mostly discouraged at my lack of progress, I could be almost…
  • I want to celebrate my birthday in Onderland!!! My birthday is September 6th, and this morning I weighed in at 205.
  • We are hoping not to take any more stops than we have to and I will be spending most of our stops feeding my 6 month old baby.
  • We are headed to Cannon Beach in Oregon:)
  • Hi there! Really it's what works best for you :-) personally I worry about calories, sugar, and sodium. And some days I only worry about the calories because... that's life!
  • Feel free to add me! DS is almost 4 months old. I had gained about 40 lbs, but thankfully I'm only 5 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. However, I still have always to go to get to my goal weight!
  • I'm more about moderation, but feel free to add me!
  • Oh, I understand that feeling all too well! If it is something that works for you... You could try prelogging your food the morning of or the night before. Also, don't overlook the value of a short/simple workout =) A quick walk or some gentle stretching may help you feel a bit better! But don't get down on yourself!…
  • If your hungry than I say eat! And because of the extra calories your body requires when gowing a little human I would not be surprised if you still lose some weight =) Personally, I was the same way my first trimester, but it did slow down pretty recently. My midwife suggested eating protein with every snack to help keep…
  • I have not seen any rules so I am going to take it a day at a time and just do as much as I can each day. :)
  • Hey congrats on your progress! I’m going to be starting the Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 next Monday. One thing that has worked for me in the past to help with my sweet cravings is to reward myself at the end of each day with a candy bar. But to earn that reward I have to eat well all day and be sure I have the calories…
