I ate half of a 2.5 ounce bag of Lay's potato chips and a cookie...totally did not need those today :grumble: Ah well I also had half of a Lara Bar, but I ate it out of boredom. That is something I'm working on too.

Everyone makes mistakes or gets off track...but you just gotta take it one day at a time. Sometimes one meal at a time! I know I have to do that sometimes. I'm sure you'll do great this time around...the new year is great motivation

I'm 23...going to be 24 this month and I graduated already, but am looking to lose 10-15 pounds MAYBE. I'm 5' 5" and usually weigh anywhere from 140-148. I have a muscular build already and I don't want to lose any of my strength, so I'm not really sure if losing 10-15 pounds is right for me. Right now I'm just…

I like any Luna bars, but am a huge fan of Lara bars. They only have a few ingredients and they're all natural. Awesome!

ALSO! Bodyrock.tv is a FANTASTIC site for home workouts...minimal equipment...short, intense workouts that you can adjust for your own level. Check it out!

A jump rope, a sand bag (though they can be expensive...you can substitute by buying a small duffle bag and filling it with bags of flour or rice), a stability ball, a medicine ball, maybe some light weights...

Lookin' good!

Your pics aren't showing up...but it must be so exciting to be within just 5 pounds of your goal! What are you going to focus on next?

GREAT JOB! Keep it up in 2012 :glasses:

Awesome progress! And congrats on making the change to eating healthier...it's by far the hardest thing for me and my major set back!

Bump! Hopefully I can add my own story for B/A stories of 2012

That's awesome! You can always register for a race coming up this spring or focus on increasing time/distance/speed. I get Runner's World magazine and it's always filled with great advice and workouts/plans to help create goals and stick with them. Maybe you could pick up an issue or two.

Awesome job! Happy traveling!

GREAT JOB!

I'm 2 as well and always looking for some motivation! It's always been easier for me to work out than eat they way I should most of the time...I find that I am too easily influenced by the people at work!

TOLEDO! Feel free to add me fellow Ohio-ans!

bump...gonna check out those websites! Thanks for the info and motivation EVERYONE!

I enjoy both: eating healthy and exercising...it's just that I like sitting on the couch and eating ice cream too haha I buy awesome healthy foods and eat fine when I'm at home, but at work it's a different story. No one really eats as healthy as I do and I tend to be easily influenced into eating the junk that's around…

Other members have posted about it, but bodyrock.tv is AMAZING. There are ways to do the workouts without the equipment they use in the videos and the entire website is great!

I don't have any "before" pictures really...but here is what my biceps have turned into :)

Active duty Coast Guard here! Working on Lake Erie in Ohio. Went through bootcamp just last May, so I haven't been in for a while. I'm going to Maritime Law Enforcement A-School probably sometime next summer/fall.

I'm in the Coast Guard and just went through bootcamp in New Jersey last May. Not sure how the Navy's PT compare to the CG's, but we would be pushing the deck, running, doing a lot of "incentive" training and drills every day. I wouldn't take 2 weeks off. You want to show up prepared. I used to live 10-15 min from the…

I registered for it last year but didn't run it :ohwell: I didn't commit to training through the winter, but this time around I KNOW I want to! I would love to finish in 4 hours, but my my primary focus is to just stick with the…
