  • 2 hours of working out a day is alittle overkill anyway 30 minutes to an hour would be best.
  • Ive found the exercise archive on here to be pretty inaccurate and its better to not track your exercise output and just pick a higher calorie goal every day
  • This isnt entirely true especially if you are eating to lose weight. You should be trying to get at least 4 cubs of vegetables a day. And to maximize your weight loss it would be best to eat at fat shredder macros. This means you should be trying to get 50%protein 30% carbs and 20% protein.
  • If you want to add me as a buddy you are welcome to view my daily meal plans. I am at 3200 calories right now so that is plenty over 2500 calories.
  • Hey man! I can definitely help with the meal ideas and keeping on track. I am bulking right now as well and am eating crazy amounts of healthy food.
  • I can help ya! I have very similar goals, no weights loss just want to look good and be in the best shape my body can be.
  • Futz1285. You need to eat way more to lose weight! about 1400 cals would be good. and there is no need to workout for 1.5 hours a day. Even professional body builders only workout for an hour a day. If you need any nutrition or fitness advice message me any time! I love helping.
  • Protein shake every morning rain or shine! its like dessert for breakfast. Why do you ask?
  • The problem with the fitbit and pedometers is while it does give you a daily calorie burn with your steps that amount of calories is already considered in your activity level for mfp. So MFP already takes most steps into account every day. If you want to log your walking then that is fine but just dont eat back that 1000…
  • Yeah you really have to focus of breathing when lifting. It sounds super dumb but for some reason our mind makes us want to hold our breath. Also if you time your breaths right and get more practice in it will actually help you lift more explosively. Keep up the good work and stay safe!
  • I actually never log my exercise into MFP. It usually isnt very accurate and there really is no way of knowing your calorie urn without a Heart Rate Monitor. Just start with around 2000 calories as a male 1600 calories as a female and if you lose weight then stay there. If you gain then go down 100 and see what happens
  • Dan I had a major skinny fat problem as well. Everyone said I looked skinny but I had a fair amount of weight to lose and I didnt look great with my shirt off. To get rid of that it just takes simple diet and exercise like a normal weight loss plan. It took me about 3 months to lose the weight and after 9 months im pretty…
  • A higher protein intake is very important for weight loss. You should be eating about 40-50% protein a day. You dont necessarily have to buy protein powder you could just eat more high protein foods like meat and yogurt. If you want to start using a protein powder the best you can buy is Whey Protein. Dont worry about…
  • If you dont have alot of time for breakfast anyway, why not try taking breakfast on the go, with a protein shake or protein bar you wont have the option to binge since you already left the house. Chris
  • It will definitely help you tone up and lose that last little bit of weight! I have seen great results with a whole bunch of my friends! If you want more information on it feel free to message me I would love to help you out. Chris
  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with him taking taking protein powders. It would actually be great for his overall health and development. I started using whey protein when I was 14 as well. The only suggestion I would make would be to stick with whey protein because it is high quality and stay away from soy as it can…
  • try adjusting your macros to 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fat. this should help. Also try more variety then treadmill and cardio. the more variety the better that way your body doesnt get used to doing certain exercises.
  • The reason it is so hard to lose the last few pounds is because your body sees that as an emergency energy storage so it is very reluctant to get rid of that. You have to convince your body it doesnt need that storage. In order to do that you are going to have to add 100 calories or so and see how your body responds. I…
  • You should definitely try to train to failure during each set. For no matter what exercise whether bench crls or rows the last reps should feel like the last possible rep. This will allow you to get the most out of your muscles. Also for gaining mass focus on time under tension, so slow down the movements and really focus…

  • I used macros to maintain for awhile as well. Some protein staples for me are canned chicken made into chicken salad, shakeology, PB2, and Whey protein. Now I know you said you didnt like protein and hey does have some lactose but my mom is also lactose intolerant and she has no problems drinking which tastes Delicious!
  • This is what I drink every morning at around 1000 calories 1 scoop chocolate arnold mass gainer 1 scoop chocolate shakelogy 2 tbsp peanut butter 2 cups vanilla almond milk 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1 whole banana Tastes like chocolate pudding
  • i really love my nike crosstrainers 3.0. Super comfortable, fit like a glove, and plenty of 360degree support
  • your carb protein and fat levels look great but you definitely need to eat more. I know it sounds crazy but most people arent able to lose the last 10-15lbs until they up their calories. This worked for me tremendously. I would recommend going up to 1400 cals for now. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to…
  • It really depends on the person but for the most part I try to finish eating 3 hours before bed and taper off my carbs after lunch. I tell my team to do the same thing and it has worked for them as well
  • That guilt is totally normal. Alot of people experience that when they eat something that isnt entirely healthy. I went through the same thing for awhile after my weight loss. But dont sweat it! i firmly believe that this site is here not to just diet but to help live a healthy but practical life. To make live practical it…
  • Dont worry I dont like the plain either i think it tastes like curdled milk. For the best quality greek yogurt I would recommend finding 0% greek yogurt that are flavored. They taste great and are extremely healthy.
  • It is likely due to lack of calories. I know it seems counter productive o eat more but if you are working out every day you should be eating around 1500-1600 calories a day. Also you should be drinking alot of water throughout the day to help stabilize your blood pressure before your workout. Finally i know it sounds…
  • if your diet changed alot towards more healthy food then it is most likely your body adjusting to that. I had that when i started eating healthier is should go away. As far as the weight loss goes are you exercising at least 3 days a week?
  • What i always recommend to people is choose a macro ratio that fits your goal. If you are maintaining I would recommend 40% protein 40% carbs 20% fat. that will allow you to drop some inches and tone up. And i personally dont subtract my exercise for the day I just add the calories into my daily alotted cals. Hope this…
