Relax :) Your body is sick and needs to recover, what is 2 weeks of your life out of many years of a healthy lifestyle? Focus on getting better and eating healthy foods to help you get better. Goodluck and I hope you get better soon. =)

I find it helps me lose weight having a cheat day. I save it for weekends though since friends always want to eat out so it can be difficult.
-
I guess age/medication/stress or things like that can contribute to the change.

I originally was 182lbs 5'5 and I just pretty much cut straight back to 1200 calories and it's kind of the only way I lose weight. I did try exercise more and eat some back but it just made me more hungry and my cravings went crazy lol. Low calorie or low carb are the only things that I personally do well with because I'm…

I've just kept my scales in the exact spot since I started, so even if it isn't the correct weight.. at least the amount lost will be.
-
Less salt, more water :D
-
I've tried eating about that and incorporating more exercise but 2000 calories a day was just too much for me to lose, I need to eat 1200-1500 a day. Did you check what your calorie intake should be based on your current age/weight/height?

Please add meee, I love viewing diaries and commenting on posts. :D

Good job on your weight loss so far and your journey to better health =) I'm on 1200 calories myself, low carb/sugar stops those annoying cravings! Goodluck!
-
I don't think that's unrealistic but it might be tight 2lb/week=25weeks. If you lose 2lb a week healthily it should be fine, you'll need to watch your intake carefully and consume unprocessed foods like veggies/fruits/wholegrain foods it will make it all much easier. Drinking lots of water too, that always seems to be…

Added ya :D I've been trying to lose weight for 2 years now and always have ups and downs mentally from being so unhappy with myself, it's tough :( But I'm half way! Got to stay positive. A marathon is a good start!

Awesome!! Well done

Hi Deljim! What kind of help? Medical reasons that requires you to lower it? Sugar cravings? Sugar Free alternatives/recipes? I love sugar but I keep it to 25g a day unless I eat a banana, otherwise I just want to keep eating sugar!
-
I generally try to not eat more then 20g sometimes I hit 40g because I like to eat a banana for multiple vitamins but eating anymore then this sends my sugar cravings uncontrollable. But keeping my sugar/carb (<20g sugar/<50g carb) intake low is what worked for me since if I don't crave it I won't eat it. If I ever feel…

I'm trying to be on everyday lol I did stop for a while but I'm back :p

Ah everyone has done so well!! Now I'm excited to go find my progress pics and upload them.

Hi ! What are your goals in gaining :)?
-
You could set yourself some small goals Counting calories does get a bit addictive, when I stopped counting I easily went over my daily limit because I became less conscious about what I ate, counting them means I have to stop and think about what I'm eating. Honestly, I'm struggling to not count calories to keep the…

I can't bring myself to wear one at 160lbs myself and I'm 24 lol wish I did have the confidence but a one piece can be nice too so I'm not complaining (much) :persevere:

I want to cosplay anime and have my clothes fit loosely around my stomach area, I also love dresses but never worn them. I just want to feel comfortable and not all flabby xD It's for myself not others.

Ditto! I did so well with weight loss a year ago. Now I'm trying to lose the 3kg I put on. I refuse to put all the 13kg I originally lost back on ._.
-
Hey! I can't say I've had this problem before but I've watched my mum quit and pack the pounds on - I think around 12kgs/25pounds. Not sure what your diet is like or if you only started exercising more but depending on the type and amount of exercising you could be gaining muscle. Best option is to see progress through how…

Aw welcome and goodluck!!! Sorry for your loss.

Welcome back!! Carbs bloat me like crazy :(!!

Hi !! and Yum!!

Hi ! :) I'm 23 and work fulltime. That sounds like a great motivation !! Mine is to Cosplay by mid year. I've lost 14kgs so far but that was over a year ago and now I'm back to lose even more!! (10kg or so) :D EDIT: Everytime I go to bed I picture how I want to be and it keeps me going lol
-
It might sound bad but I weigh myself in the morning and at night before bed to get a better average of my real weight. My weight likes to fluctuate alot (I also use the Weight Watchers Scale that Calcs Body Fat and Water %) Personally it is a motivator as I'd hate to pick a day to weigh in where I'm holding more water…
