Cookies and cream!!!!! I used to get apple pie and choc cookie dough, but the cookies and cream is amazing!!!!

Yes. I'm still semi plateauing and loosing/gaining what appears to be the same 2-3 lbs, yet my pants are a size smaller and my measurements are too. Frustrating at times, but ultimately, for me, better to look/feel/physically smaller than bigger even if the scale isn't moving.

Yes. I don't get cramps but I bloat really bad and while I feel like a slug and am tired? Forcing myself gives me a burst of energy. Then I get tired when I'm done and call it a day. I won't weigh during TOM! Yikes

Before I eat it. I usually prelog a day in advance, sometimes more, and I find that it helps me see what my macros/calories will be in advance which helps me keep accountable. If things change I adjust but it's rare that I stray from my meal planning.

I agree!! I'm proof of that too!

While I am still plateauing (or going up 2, down 2 lbs), I've lost inches by increasing strength training and am officially a size 8 on bottom (took 5 months to get out of size 10) and bought my first size small top!! Still a med in the top only because my arms need more toning and "the girls" will probably continue to…

This or a quest protein bar (cookies and cream is my new fav!).
-
I thought the same! Amazing job!!!
-
Love them! cookies and cream is my favorite along with banana bread and the chocolate chip dough one.
-
Lol this cracked me up :) Since I'm short, I'd say Jillian Michaels.

Never thought to measure! But at 5'2" they're 14.5 at the thickest part of my leg. I'm content with my legs. Arms are a different story...

I totally agree!! I was at a plateau for a good 3 months and when I posted some said to eat more. Then of course, someone also posted "you're trying to loose weight why are you eating more?" the usual backhanded comments. I agree with dakotababy that when people say you're not eating at a deficit, well it isn't always the…

Huge progress and an amazing difference! Thanks for sharing.

Pizza and chips. I went a year cold turkey without chips. Bought my first bag 6 months ago and the bag went stale (a first!!). Now I buy the snack packs and limit myself to 3 bags a month tops. Pizza once a month.

Thank you!! I was worried about this since I was eating (what I feel) a lot of food. And in case someone asks, yes, I do weigh, measure, all my food.
-
Thank you soooo much Dnarules and AmyRhubarb!! I've read about the bmr and tdee calculators but was confused but you two simplified it for me!!! Thanks!!!!!!
-
@Dnarules: I haven't thought of maintenance but that is something to consider. Thanks for you help! The point of my post is to get feedback and try things I haven't done before. Clearly I need some assistance or I wouldn't be where I am now :) I'm not gaining, and am definitely getting in shape and am much stronger.

I'm eatting more due to what others have said with plateaus. Eating 1400 burning 400-500, nothing, so I'm trying more especially since many with my stats and workout have suggested it to others. Am I not to net 1200 minimum? Zumba (I don't do it half assed) does not just burn 200. HRM says 500 but I usually lower it in…

Sunday's are my day off but I will definately try what you did soon!! Anyone else out there feel I'm not eating enough, netting enough, etc? Really appreciate it :)
-
Do you guys feel that I'm eating enough 1600-1700 on days I work out eating back so I net 1200-1300? Or is that too little eaten back? I'm trying to reduce cardio and do more strength.
-
Thank you! That's what I'm thinking too. I just get tired of plain omelets but I might try for a few weeks to eliminate the ham/cheese even though I weigh it. maybe I should add protein powder and/or try to find another breakfast (I have two meals, one which is processed jimmy dean egg white/grain sandwiches).

Clothes (bottoms) seem a bit looser. I'm definitely like you; I want to see the inches melt off. Trainer says to ignore scale, which I agree, but I just want to be in the "normal" BMI range as I'm still "overweight". Wish that scale would account for any muscle mass I have. The main reason for my thread is to make sure I'm…

Interesting!!! Yeah my Dr said if in 3 months I'm still stuck to make an appointment. Someone had sent me a message about measuring/pics. I should note that I tried measuring only to get different measurements each time. I haven't taken pics so I might start that! And I know I had a pizza blow out a week ago but that…

I prelog. Sometimes, like now, I prelog a few days in advance. It allows me to know what I'll be eating. Also I prelog depending on excercises i have planned that week.
-
I'm going to increase my calories as I've been in a plateau for about two months!!! I'm trying to change my workouts, and I'm very accurate in documenting what I eat and the amount. Thanks for the tips!!
-
Excellent point!!! I would drink lots of water, chew gum, and allow yourself one on Friday, especially if you didn't over due the platter all week! I don't have a sweet tooth, but have the same problem with salty snacks.

yes, sometimes I go for the size I am vs what I used to be in. Like you, I still pick out the larger size because my real size "looks too small" to be true. Bad habits are hard to break. I too suggest maybe trying on new clothes as seeing that visual might help. Keep it up!

I have read every post and have thoroughly enjoyed them all! The one thing that surprised me was that my shoe size, particularly with heels, has gone down! Didn't think I had fat feet but I notice my tennis shoes are tied tighter, heels are floppy in the back (nooooooo!!! My favorite heels need replacing), and I am…
