No need to feel bad about it. It's a learning experience. Just take one moment at a time, and try to make each moment better than the last. If you regress, that's ok; the next moment is another opportunity to move forward.

JFT - Monday: Record Aim for that 100 calorie boundary Pay attention at work (this would probably go better if I wasn't updating this at work, but I have a deadline, so I need to get cracking  ) Think of another JFT goal for tomorrow...

He didn't get to have any cheesecake. They've been on him about his blood sugar. We took it home. We'll have it when he gets out and he's on his regular meds again. (and as I was writing this I got the text - he will get out today) Bright side - got our toilet fixed (chain came off the flapper and had trouble getting it…

JFT: Thursday Take my husband out for a belated birthday dinner (assuming they let him out) Record everything to the best of my ability - quick calories if nothing else Try not to get too irritated at work
-
Today is better, except now my husband is in the hospital. Hoping it's just a one night stay and they'll let him out today. He had an infection that needed some strong antibiotics. We're currently hoping that they discharge him before he makes it up to a regular room. (He spent the night in one of the ER exam rooms. At…

So, Thursday was bad - took one of our cats to the vet, twice. She fell off the bed a couple of times Wednesday night and was not walking well Thursday morning. They took blood and gave her an anti-inflammatory shot. I then went to work, leaving her in the care of my kids (both are in their late teens). Was at work for a…

Wednesday: Try to maintain the motivation to record. My give darn is breaking again. It happens with annoying regularity. Aim for that 100 calorie range Continue looking forward to this weekend (easy, it's Pensacon) Do not lose temper (Irritability tends to accompany my depressive episodes)
-
Tuesday: Record everything to the best of my ability, but no specific goals today. I already know that chocolates and a restaurant dinner are in the cards. Just don't know quantity or type. Live a little Get crap done
-
Monday: Aim for staying within 100 calories of the goal Focus at work. I only work 4 days this week, have to make each one count.

Click the quote button under your post. Edit out what you don't want, and add what you do. But if you want to actually edit and not create a new post, mouse over your post and then click on the gear, (or long press in the mobile app I think) and then select Edit. Add what you want. Save Post. Except it only gives…

JFT: the Goal is more of a guideline, really. Not sure about dinner tonight. Taking my son to see Lego Batman, and may or may not grab dinner. Depends on what he wants as to where we go. Go to bed whenever I feel like it, because it's Friday night, and I get to sleep in. JFTW (Weekend): Do my chores (work on litter box…
-
Thursday: Stay within 100 calories of goal (one day, I will achieve this. I have a plan for tonight.) Go to bed by 10pm (I did it once, I can do it again) Be patient with my daughter. I swear. Every time she gets a head cold, she's sure she has a sinus infection. She stubs a toe and it's gotta be broken. I love her, but…

JFT: Stay within 100 calories of goal Go to bed by 10pm (video games are wonderfully evil things) Try not to roll my eyes so hard they fall out of my head when listening to upper mgmt at work. I need them to see.
-
Yesterday: I did both, although I logged horrible things, and opted not to go. (My left ovary hates me I think.) JFT Don't change things up. If it's pre-recorded, eat it. Try to get within of 100 calories of the goal. Go to bed by 10pm.

Today, I'll log, during the day is easy, it's at home I struggle. I will again consider going to the gym. The biggest problem, is my personal best time to go, is the middle of the day. Too early and I spend the day sluggish and exhausted. Too late can sometimes affect my sleep. Can't really take two hour lunches, which…

Log Focus Enjoy time out with friends this evening (but order what I've "scheduled") I might get dessert... I'll probably "earn" more calories before then. Enjoy my weekend. Don't worry about logging, just focus on self (and taxes and maybe even some house cleaning)
-
Second verse, same as the first: Log Focus Stay within 100 calories Take one moment at a time
-
So, was under by 177, so not too bad, but was trying to figure out what to eat last night... Today: Log all food Focus at work Stay within 100 calories of my goal (either side) Take one moment at a time.
-
Today: Log all food Paint Focus better at work Stay within 100 calories of my goal (either side)
-
Just for today: I will Log my food to the best of my ability I will enjoy the burger and fries I have already scheduled I will enjoy getting my hair done I will take one moment at a time
-
Just for today - I will log my food, even when I don't want to. I will stay within my calorie goals I will consider going to the gym Edited to add - And I will pin this so when I come to work on Monday morning, this thread will open up first thing in the morning.

A year after I got serious about losing, I hit Onederland. It was two years ago. I gained back a percentage of what I lost (thankfully not all of it), so now I'm trying to get there again. (Depression sucks rocks and is a filthy liar, but it's so hard to not listen sometimes.)

I know it's an older post, and an illusion at that, but I love this.

Ok - let's use the train station analogy. In central park, someone asks for directions to the train station. The closest is Grand Central, so I give directions to there. The person goes there, only the person or train they are meeting, is actually going to Penn Station. Ooops. Sometimes a question is too vague to answer…

April 24 Me: 17 Binge: 7 Days binge free: 0 Well, was doing ok, but last night... Ugh. I was nauseated all day, but was hungry, and then just wouldn't stop. At least I feel better this morning. I'm not buying more peanut butter or preserves today though. My first counseling appointment is Monday.
-
Acacia2India - Sounds like a solid plan. Good luck. April 21 Me: 15 Binge: 6 Days binge free: 7 So, apparently this is retain water week. Despite being under my calories I've put on 2/10 of a pound per day. That's alright though - it'll drop at a drastic rate later. (as long as I don't succumb to the "EAT ALL THE THINGS"…
-
April 20 Me: 14 Binge: 6 Days binge free: 6 I made it through the weekend without binging. I am counting today, because so far I have no inclination to do so, (I'm having dinner late though - and I haven't had dessert yet, but I might have less than I "scheduled" and will update the diary to match. I did overeat yesterday,…

April 14 Me: 8 Binge: 6 Days binge free: 0 So, the day isn't over yet, so this is just through yesterday. Ugh - I am horrid on weekends, and apparently on workdays when I don't work all day. Today was relatively ok, but like I said, I haven't gone to bed yet, but I'm hopeful that tomorrow, the Me number of the Binge free…
-
April 8 Me: 5 Binge: 3 Days binge free: 3 Another success - I've been cautious with the calories during the day, so I have a bit more to play with for snacks in the evening - not minding that one bit. :)
