i have knee problems also and progressivly getting worse. I have the same type of symptoms as you impact workouts, kneeling and squatting. start to do little sprints while you're walking eventually you increase your jog to a run. dvds and even hand weights are fairly cheap at walmart and target. if you add ankle or hand weights to you walk it will add some resistance.

you might want to ask your Dr what specific excercises you can do....and or have him send you to Physical therapy...you dont necessarily have to go to therapy for a long period of time...they can actually teach home exercises and show you the proper way to do them

after a real good intense workout i tend to eat most of it back...i find im hungrier the next morning if i dont other times if ive had a light/decent workout i just eat half back

i dont know what this excercise is called but use the machine where you pull down the weight behind you neck (you can also pull the weight down toward your chest)

ok so i did my first 300 on Tuesday......then tried again today....didnt think i could do more than the first 50....but struggled thru to get 200 out of the way then did the remaining like an 1 1/2hr later... learned my lesson......im breaking it up to 150 am / pm most likely 5sets of 30
