haha that's true - I guess that's why some people take laxatives  (not me, screw that - I heard if you start to take them - you risk becoming dependent on them) yeah true, and keep track of the overall trend. as long as it's downwards!

@rejoycethacker I'm based in Stockholm - I tried to find a community there. There seems to be a Swedish Freeletics facebook group, but there has been no activity on their page since October or November :/ @PaulaWallaDingDongDingDong I agree - am trying to improve my logging in myfitnesspal, more specifically: do less…

Does your weight fluctuate during the month? (I find mine does). Because of that I tend to record my weight each week to make sure I'm on track, but only compare that weight to a month ago.

I use the recipe builder. Also, started using a food scale - that REALLY helps, before then I had been underestimating how much food I was eating

I gained 1 pounds. Bit annoyed at myself but I was expecting worse. I suspect walking heaps (average 20,000 steps a day) on a week trip meant I burned most of the pastries, cakes, fast food I ate.

This would be good to know - might be worth seeing a doctor about? Also, are you drinking lots of water? e.g. at least 2 litres a day

I also have a problem with over-eating in the evenings - I have found herbal teas have helped curb my appetite in the evening. I guess the water helps fill me up and the fact they have flavour makes me feel like I'm not depriving myself. My favourite is this herbal tea by Yogi tea called Nach dem Essen. Also I budget in a…

if you want a strength routine that isn't time consuming you could consider Freeletics? My friends have been on it for a while and swear by it. I recently joined and love the workouts (my body is aching the day after though hehe)

Can't say I have lost a decent amount of weight by walking - (down 5.3kg/11.6lb so far) I find my body reacts better to HIIT training (e.g. intervals on the treadmill). On weeks I only walked a lot but didn't do any HIIT I barely saw a difference in the scale.

It took me about a year and a half to gain 38 pounds. But I think most of that was within a year - I just gained a bit more (like 4/5 pounds) in the final 6 months. I lost 12 pounds a few years ago, then regained it (and a few more) within 3 months. My goal is to see this as a lifestyle change and discover yummy food that…

I've had a Charge HR for about 2 months (before then I had a Fitbit Flex). I "eat back" some of the calories I burn - but so far I'm getting a 2-3kg a month weight loss by aiming for a 1300 net calorie goal. I also try to overestimate how much I eat.

Yeah if you weigh yourself the same time each week for 2 months, you should start to see a pattern (and when its just water weight)

After running for a few weeks I did it in 35min. I think having good music really helps you get into a rhythm and keep going. I really struggle at 2km but after 3km it gets easier again
