At home is my preference. Easier for me to accomplish my goals, and I'm more disciplined. I have got several DVDs that I use, weights and resistance bands. I do visit the gym but not often enough, and mostly for cycling. Cons about at home is that I don't have a set routine because I have so much flexibility. The gym is a…

What I do is prepare a healthier version of what I'm craving at home. I do have a cheat day but I don't cheat all day long...just at one meal. Prepping food and shopping with a list also helps me. A list prevents me from picking up extra crap. If I didn't write it down, then I didn't need it as far as I'm concerned. Don't…

What do you mean by "diet chef"? Will you be changing your health style or doing a temporary diet?
-
All depends. Just do your research and talk to professionals. I typically run first for 30-40 minutes and then do 15 minutes of free weights. I don't have enough energy to do free weights and then run. I have way more energy after I run. Breaking up the cardio and weights is probably best but depends your time restraints…

I read an article on Dr. Oz's website about the "zig zag" diet. You consume 1200 calories one day; the next day you consume 1000; and then the day after you consume 1100 calories. Seems extreme to me. I guess it could work for the short term although I didn't' see the recommended time length. Personally, I wouldn't bother…

Be careful. 1000 calories and your body may go into starvation mode. Talk with your doctor or a nutrionist. I would not advocate that you consume 1000 calories purposefully. Read below via: http://www.fitwatch.com/weight-loss/3-reasons-why-eating-less-than-1000-calories-is-a-waste-of-time-3347.html When you want to lose…

I most always drink water. On a special occasion, I'll have a glass of wine usually a spritzer. I would just flavoring or infusing your water with fruits and herbs. For example, watermelon and rosemary, pineapple and mint, blackberry and sage, all citrus, or raspberry and lime - see below. (Lemon water is great too…

Looks like most anything in a package and/or can is processed. Makes sense that tofu is somewhat processed but I didn't really think about that too much. I was surprised to see packaged spinach (such as Fresh Express) on the list….what the heck are they doing to the spinach. Cleaning spinach takes a minute because of the…

Count me in! I love sharing recipes and talking about the healthy lifestyle. Dani Spies on youtube has a channel dedicated to clean eating, and I watch her vlog every now and again.

Suggest talking with your doctor. Sometimes our bodies don't absorb all the nutrients and vitamins as we desire. Some follks don't get enough and that's way we see products fortified with certain vitamins and whatnot. Also, in order for one vitamin to work, you may need to add in other vitamin so that your body absorbs it…
