I'd be interested if there are still spots available! Thanks!

Oh, I saw a recipe for a Paleo Donut.... I don't follow Paleo myself. It seems a little out-there. http://realhealthyrecipes.com/2014/03/24/best-paleo-donut-recipe/

How about donuts? Pancakes? French toast?

Hard boiled eggs are very portable and I, at least, find them very satisfying. You could pair two or three with some fruit or vegetables...

Looks fabulous. Do you get the jalapenos?
-
Mmmm... just had some Cottage Inn. A couple corner slices of pineapple and jalapeno and a center piece of pepperoni and mushroom. They really laid the toppings on thick, too.

My go-to for the slow cooker is baked potato soup. Cut up 2.5 pounds of potatoes, half a yellow onion. Put in the slow cooker with four cups of chicken broth (or four cups of water and some chicken buillion), minced garlic, and seasoned salt. Leave it on low for eight hours or high for four hours. Then add 4 ounces of…

I can't believe it's been so long, but four weeks to the day. (I had to check my work calendar!) Celebrated the May birthdays at work with several pies from DeLuca's, a local place notorious for copious amounts of cheese. They cut their round pizzas into square slices. If I recall correctly, I had a couple slices of…

INTJ. Almost exactly on the cusp between introvert and extrovert. It's been useful at work, knowing my type and the types of others I work closely with.

Glad to hear you've found some balance! Hope all is going well with you too.

I don't think I've ever put butter on a salad.

I've learned how to prepare a lot of my Chinese food favorites, so I know exactly how many calories are going into it. I'll eat it from the restaurant too but try to limit it to once a month since I really can't know how many calories I'm eating.

I would totally eat that. Although I don't get why everything has to be in a jar these days.

Beans seem to keep me really full. Also, fried potatoes.

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like he was part of your family. Take the time you need to grieve, and remember your happy memories. He had a long, happy life with you.

@Kwan47, thank you! I don't usually eat fast food, but we're going to be on the road a lot this summer with my son's travel baseball team, and I know I'll need to know my best choices at these places!
-
That is very clever.
-
I second this. Kudos to you on your hard work and dedication!

For me it's those packaged peanut-butter-on-crackers things. They're filling and it can sit at my desk for a week or two if I don't get hungry enough to eat it. But you say peanut butter is probably tasty for you no matter what, so that might not work for you...

I fry about six ounces of potato with red pepper and onion in a little canola oil. Add some spinach and let it wilt. Top it all with an over-easy egg. I'm full for hours after this.
-
Turn it around now while it's 20 pounds and not the whole 90 again! You can do it!
-
That is a wonderful thing. I'm so happy for you!
-
I've lost 17 pounds and I have a couple glasses of wine three or four times a week!
-
I make it with EVOO instead of butter and I add sriracha. It's just about the only food I really feel like I can't eat in moderation so I very, very rarely make it.

My husband has to watch his saturated fat intake so I use olive oil instead of butter or margarine in cooking whenever I can. Doesn't save calories but it's a healthier fat. He uses "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray on his food. If I'm going to butter vegetables or toast I just use a little bit of regular butter.

I always thought vegetarians could eat eggs, milk, cheese. Ovo-lacto vegetarian.
