I completed my whole 30 in the beginning of march. I made bone broth in the crockpot from the turkey carcass after last nights meal. I cooked it in the crock with some garlic, apple cider vinegar (2 tbl spoons) and 4 liters of water. On low for 24 hours. It turned out great! I can't wait to use it in my cooking and have a cup with my lunch and dinner.

Day 21 and it is my birthday. Celebrated with my favorite dinner- chocolate chili, a large spinach salad, and roasted carrots and parsnips. No cake and no worries. Didn't miss it. :)

Day 43 Great job! Very inspiring. I hope this becomes my way of eating for life. I believe right now it feels wonderful and I could live like this. I haven't felt that crappy I ate too much feeling in almost 2 weeks. Strict paleo may be the way I go after the whole 30. :)

LOL! I know but if it's not one thing it is another. I always find an excuse when to not start. I timed this whole 30 to end just before my annual cholesterol test. I've never had a "good" test so I am hoping to see results. It's worth the "no cake or dessert" stuff. ;)

Today we had baked pork chops topped with mushrooms that I sautéed in coconut oil. For the sides I made carrots and roasted cabbage with olive oil. I will definitely make the cabbage again. It was delicious!
