I weighed 115-120 lbs. when I married the first time and around 180-187 lbs. the second time. Now, I weigh 113.5 lbs.

Think I'll go make spaghetti again . . . . (off she trots to go make it. . . .)

Waaalllll, we are all entitled to varying opinions, and my opinion is that Darin nailed it with the above-mentioned post. What he wrote is not based upon movies and cards; it is based upon a Truth for those fortunate enough to find it. Some people assuredly like the drama of conflict (which I see as the opposite of what…

Well, since reading more of what you write, I have decided that you are definitely not the person I thought you were. What I was going to write here is "you are definitely not the complete idiot I thought you were, but I changed my mind about writing that. B) Reading your later post makes me think you are a far better…

You do understand, don't you . . . . :s Too well. How I wish you didn't "get it." This treatment can ruin marriages, can ruin spouses. G-D, help us to guard ourselves and our children from this.

I'm doing all right; it's my older sister whose life was torn up by it, including marriage problems -- three marriages. She was particularly beautiful, tall and elegant, and I think Mother was jealous. :(

This is way too true. This continues to cause problems for me. Fortunately, when I finally remarried, I married a man who is extremely patient with me. I don't feel pain like others do. I didn't realize that until my daughter brought it up as a teen. I thought about it and realized she was right. Tonight, my husband and I…

@memickee : I ended up weighing 113. Some people say I am too thin, including my nutritionist. I don't agree. What if you get in the 110s and decide you are too thin. Do you have a plan?

Hee-hee-hee! I'm used to DetroitDarin's attitude. Waaallll, my children are both in their 40s now, and they have done very well all through their lives, as spouses, and with their children, in spite of my not having your advice. :) Seriously. My first husband was initially my main influence who caused me to decide…

Awww, you're so sweet and encouraging! Thank you! I do keep messing up -- like Tuesday night, I fell asleep and didn't take my insulin. Really messed stuff up. :(

I got used to camping as a tiny child. My birth-family used tents, going into the redwoods to camp. We also had a church "camp meeting" we attended yearly until I was 8 then again in later years. At the camp meeting, initially, we had huge tents, then we used cabins in a beautiful, quiet, woody area in a larger city on the…

My husband had once asked mev to lose weight for him. I couldn't do it. To be successful, I really had to lose it for me

So we can't write about kittens. We can't write about tacos. What else is there that we innocents don't know about???

*** seriously???

This morning, I really NEEDED tomato stuff, so I made spaghetti. Filled the need! Yesterday for breakfast, I had a Kirkland protein shake. That day was really messed up because I fell asleep and didn't take my insulin. Very bad, icky day with both a medical and dental appt. Baaaaaaaddd day!

Moooove!

Apparently, we each define a "cheat day" differently. No big deal.

when we get too many goodies around here, I send them to my husband's church for their family dinner day. Nyehh-nyehh-nyehh-nyehh-nyehh! Eeeeviiiill incarnate!

Sorry, Pulsar! :( Also, Pulsar, I love the tiny houses, too. That will never happen for us, though. My husband would go stir-crazy. Our little 1,500 square footer is about as small as he can stand.

Had a popup when the children were smaller, before I remarried. Loved it! Very convenient. Drove it all over the West Coast and Midwest. I'd do it again.

I really freak out regarding sleeping in hotels, after what I've read. The RV is my way to go. At least I know how clean things are.

Hee-hee-hee! EEEEeevvvveeeeellllll. Nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeeeehhhhhhh! Keep up the good work!

Yeah -- she's right to bump this, cuties! Bring it on! If you want to answer these: FEMALE? MALE? We're getting ready to take off for a tiny while in our old RV. I would be off in it way more often, but when they get old, there's always something to fix. Tomorrow, we're taking it in for a rear brake job. We're fortunate that we've found a mechanic shop we trust. Last time we had them do repairs, we'd lined up people to…

Tried this. I didn't like it. Good thing I bought 2, however -- I liked it VERY much the next time! Thank you, Shiny!

Tonight, for a snack, I had 1/2 c cottage cheese, a fruit cup with its juice, 1/3 c granola, and 2 TBS wheat germ. It was great, except I'd forgotten that wheat germ has a little bitter taste I don't like. Oh, well. I determined to enjoy it, so I did.

Been avoiding this thread . . . .

Wish I had wisdom for you, but I don't. This happens to both my husband and me, even here in the Great North Wet, but apparently not to the level you had it last night. He is not diabetic.
