Indeed, love does not die. My son once asked me about this. Yes, I still love his father, although he was taken from us in an accident in 1977, and I have since remarried. I also still love my first boyfriend, killed by a drunk driver.

My son and my daughter: They always make me smile. I am a very fortunate momma!

Since I've been sick, he puts up with my being "down" a lot. I'm not happy about that at all. Since we married 29 years ago, our interests have come together -- a lot. When we married, we both went to the same church, for example. I got kicked out, but I begged him not to let that sway him: that if he left, it would be his…

Oh, honey. I haven't read any of the other responses to you yet. I had to stop and answer. I wish you did not feel this way. You seriously need to let this man who hates you go. You do not need to be imprisoned by someone who hates you. There are so many really great men out there, and you are presently (apparently)…

Waaaallllll, mine's obviously a drawing, one of the first things I tried drawing using a mouse. It was drawn around the end of September, 2013, from this "Milk Moustache" photo: I've lost a little more weight since then, and my illness has done a job on my face since then, too. Maybe I should find a newer photo. however. :)

my favorite station has been playing a whole lot of Keith Green lately.

Yeah. Sometimes, I wonder about my scale because of this, but it's a digital. Is it because I'm far past menopause? I don't know. Occasionally, but very rarely, it will go as low as 112, and also very rarely up to 115, but I can almost count on it being 113.5 daily.

My son and his wife started going together as very young teens. Binary. Scared me to death. But they waited until they were fairly well into their 20s to marry, and nearly 20 years later, they are still married. I've heard and read many people who know them see them as an example of a great marriage. I agree.

Had blueberries, blackberries, pears, peaches on cottage cheese and granola, with the juice, for breakfast. Had vegies for lunch with avocado.

For me, a cheat day is a day I decide not to make account for every little thing I eat. I tend to get really fed up with constantly keeping account, and in order to keep from stopping altogether, a day of not making account gives me a breather. I choose to do this on some Sabbaths, but not all. Regardless, I still eat…

Tell us a bit about you. :) I'm married (29 years), a mother and grandmother, retired last year, lost 123 pounds, weigh 113.5 almost every day, favorite food is still chicken masala, love chocolate, have lived in the Great North Wet longer than anywhere else. :)

Either fairies or leprechauns. We were invaded by leprechauns (never saw any fairies that time) and they filled our cereal cabinet with Lucky Charms. I couldn't bring myself to tell them that I don't use foods with known dyes in them, so I graciously thanked them, showed them where the rainbow ended in our neighborhood,…

You people -- all of you that I can see (and I'll just bet the rest of you!) are So Gorgeous! I am So happy for you that you've lost this weight while so young . . . glad you didn't wait until you were senior citizens as I did. You have givens yourselves gifts no one else could give, and the gifts are above monetary value.…

I have 4 siblings, and I've had 6 foster-brothers and one foster sister for short periods of time over several years.

I live in the Pacific North Wet. I don't get to sleep until around 2 a.m., sometimes earlier, so I expect it to be dead around here.

I am so sorry. I wish I had wisdom to say the right things to move you through this, but I'm not smart enough. I hope and pray (actually pray) that you find a solution for this. For myself, I never could lose weight for anyone other than for me, no matter what was said to me. :s

I am just not that influenced by others, especially doctors, when they tell me what they want. Such is so unimpressive. I've had too many dingbats for doctors in this town, but admittedly, my present set is better than I've had in decades. I tend to decide for myself what I am going to do. Yes, that has occasionally gotten…

Anyone know about the mima mounds in your travels. They kind of fascinate me. I haven't yet read an explanation for them. Lots of them on the northern West Coast.

I had set many goals, all of them seemingly unreachable, but this is what happened.

Thank you for telling us. I don't know him, but I have lost one spouse, and so has my husband. We all know it is a hard, hard thing. Do they have children? Grown or little? Can you tell us just a bit about them?

Sorry you assumed that I think I am superior. We were discussing different types of relationships. That is all. I was actually thinking, regarding our different ways of approaching love, "Vive la différence!" not criticizing your ways. I can't even imagine doing that. :) By the way, I have known people who love conflict --…

Me! I love traveling by train as well. Did the cross-country by train thang twice by the northern route between Minneapolis and Portland, OR, and twice by the more southerly route. Did that train route thang between MPLS & southern Illinois a couple times -- NOT recommended, but maybe they fixed that. On one of those trips…
