I have done 30 day shred for 3 days here and there for the last 3 months (one day a month...WOO!). Today was my first of committing to it. DANG, is it hard! I pushed as hard as I could for the first half, and then I had to take a breather. I finished strong though. I am excited to see changes in me! Please feel free to add…

I always plan a day in advance, including my exercise. I think it helps me get motivated day to day. Obviously I have to edit things in and out, but overall, I stick to the plan, and it works! I love seeing the numbers in advance.

The website recommends that you try to eat your exercise calories. Obviously it's not possible in all cases, but for your body to function in a healthy manner, it needs more calories on days you exercise than days you don't. At least that's what I understand from reading LOTS of posts on the message boards.

It's not unsolicited at all! This whole "net calories" thing is new to me today, so I am definitely going to be making some changes. I had the (probably very popular) thought that you were supposed to have negative calories before today, so I was trying to exercise WAY too much.

I usually do 35 minutes on the elliptical which burns about 400 calories. Tuesdays and Thursdays I take an aerobics class which usually burns about 400-600 calories in 50 minutes depending if we're just doing floor aerobics or step aerobics. I take a yoga class once a week which apparently burns about 300 calories in 100…

I "tested" 30 day shred about a month ago, but I haven't been doing it since. I am going to start doing it tomorrow though! I need to get a measuring tape, but I look forward to seeing a difference!
