Choboni flips greek yogurt - either the chocolate and coconut one, or one of the new flavors (hazelnut & chocolate or Caramel & pretzels) Dark chocolate, just a small piece Smartees - if I just can't shake the craving, and just have to have some sugar, a roll of smartees is only 25 calories and is enough to take care of…

Having lost almost 90 pound of insulation has made for a very cold winter for me! I told my husband I haven't been warm since last September. LOL! I have went from waking up in the middle of the night, soaking wet from sweating because I was so hot, even with a fan on high blowing directly on me, to buying an electric…

From my own experience, wild caught is more expensive than farm raised. Like the previous poster mentioned, every time I have ever bought it, it is always labeled as one or the other in the store. I just think wild caught tastes better, so always spend the extra money for it. That's just me though.

Why would this be a bad idea? It doesn't matter what time you eat, or what you eat for that matter, as long as you are within your goals for the day. You should be fine!

Road trips always make me hungry. Even though I had a couple pieces of candy while driving, I was starving when I got to the hotel. Rather than stop at one of the countless fast food joints near the hotel, I opted to go to the grocery store and pick up some greek yogurt instead. I'm still over my calorie goal for the day,…

I got a job offer today with a fire department I had been hoping would hire me!

I usually do some 2-hand swings and some goblet squats with a relatively light kettle bell. After 2-3 sets of each, I'm typically ready to go with whatever the plan is for the day.

I'm back to logging again today. I took a hiatus for a couple weeks. It was much needed, but now it is time to get back to the business at hand.

If you are wanting to have lasting weight loss, it isn't going to happen quickly. You didn't gain the weight overnight, and you won't successfully lose it that way either. With most of the quick-loss diets, it is water weight you are losing, and not fat. They tend to be things that aren't sustainable long-term, such as…

I do the same workouts I do any other time of the month. I should also add, I am fortunate that I don't typically get cramps, and the exercise helps with the bloated feeling.

Bought a new pair of capris yesterday, and they were a size smaller than what I have been wearing! I haven't been a size 12 since my early twenties!

I always lift in bare feet! I actually put shoes on the other day for the first time because I was doing deficit deadlifts, and didn't like how the plate felt under my foot. Wearing shoes was just plain weird feeling to me. (It was a pair of Van's) Realistically, shoes aren't really going to protect your foot that much if…

This: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UnTP6SD43k And, even though I wasn't able to get video of my second PR today, I was able to press a 24 kg (53 lb) kettle bell for the first time ever!! (I am totally more pumped about this than the DL, although I am pretty happy about it as well.)

Wow! You look like a completely different person! Congrats on the phenomenal weight loss!

At kettle bell class tonight, we were told to pick a bell, and then do as many swings as we possibly could without setting it down. I picked a 20 kg (44 lb) bell and did 100 straight swings. I probably had a few more in me, but I needed to save a little something for the rest of the class...and everyone else had stopped at…

From 10/2013 to 6/2014 I lost 77.5 pounds, and averaged 2.5 pounds per week. From 6/2014 to 1/2015, I only lost 5 pounds, but continued to lose inches. From 1/2015 to today, I have lost an additional 7 pounds for an average of 1 pound per week. My overall average is 1.15 pounds per week. The more weight you have to lose…

Good for you! Those are one of my favorite exercises to do because they are just so darn good for you (and I think they are lots of fun)! You'll be doing them with heavier weight before you know it - I was able to do one with 1/3 my body weight the other day!
-
As long as you record things the same way every time, and know what it means to you, does it really matter which way you do it? That being said, I always think a set is the equal number on both sides.

I want to lose a total of 112.5 lbs. 88.5 lbs down, only 24 more to go!

Awesome workout today! Worked on deadlifts and tested my kettle bell press. I was able to get 270 up, but wasn't able to lock out. Not sure when I got the bar slightly in front of me, but at the top I started leaning forward and had to set it down. However, I now know I can get it up, and will do it right on Thursday, so I…

Don't be afraid to take a pic! Sometimes the scale stays the same, but your body is still changing. It's easier to see those changes in a picture, than in the mirror - at least it's easier for me. Don't give up, you've got this!

I'm on the back quarter of a 48 hour shift at the firehouse. Not only did I managed to get a workout in yesterday without interruption, I also got one in today! It's always a good day when I don't have to stop a workout because someone called 911.

I have one pair of pants and one shirt from my largest size clothes. When I am feeling discouraged, or beating myself up for making some choices that aren't the best for me, I will pull them out and put them on, to remind me how far I have come. To date, I have went from a size 26W to a 14, and still have 25 pounds to lose…

I'm 45, and so far I have lost 88 pounds, a total of 59 inches, and my body fat has dropped 13% points. I also have hypothyroidism. Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done, if you really want to do it!

Weight loss: 88 lbs Method: Making healthier food choices, cutting out fast food and soft drinks, drinking more water, lots of lean protiens, avoiding most processed foods, and cutting out most bread (because I want to eat the entire loaf in one sitting if it is good bread - I have no self control once I start eating it,…

I am 5'7" and started at 272.5 lb. I am currently at 184.5, so 88 lbs lost.
