I track vigorous cleaning, and grocery shopping I log if I'm out walking for a longer period than usual. Some people log everything they do and some don't. My suggestion is to log it and see if it's a big enough calorie burn to warrant needing to eat those calories back. If it's not I don't bother logging it usually.

I had mine taken out in 2009. Everybody told me "you can't eat this or that anymore" but I honestly haven't notice any difference since before I had mine taken out (except for a few scars on my stomach) I can still eat greasy burgers and pizza, and spicy mexican and indian food which I've heard are the hardest for most…

* I want to go skydiving and not worry about weight limits. * I want to go to an amusement park and not worry about fitting in the rides. * I want to go out on dates with my boyfriend and not feel like people are judging my food choices because of my weight * I want to shop for clothes online or in person and not worry…

i can absolutely relate! I was down 78 lbs at one point, then Christmas happened and my "vacation/holiday" eating became "I'll start again next week" eating lol. 15 lbs later I've added another 3 months onto my weight loss journey. I finally got back on the band wagon with only a few minor slips so far since the beginning…

As someone who dated a guy for 7 years that was unemployed the whole time (I'm dating someone else now) I don't think being unemployed is a deal breaker, but not wanting to be employed would be. There's a big difference between being is a rut and wanting to slowly climb your way back out and being in a rut and happy with…

Without knowing all the specifics here is my 10 cents. I think if they have a strict policy about not having your belly show, she should have made sure hers was covered, pregnant or not rules are rules. On that note, the gym handled it poorly and definitely should re-evaluate their procedures. How hard would it have been…

Thanks for your suggestions everybody! It's not that i especially love the fruit and yogurt parfait, but it's the quickest and least calorie consuming breakfast on my way to work every morning lol. I've got some great ideas to try so far, but by all means keep posting! The more ideas the better :)

I won't pretend to know anything medically regarding you symptoms and I didn't see anything saying meat and fat we off limits, so here's my suggestion. When I make veggies I sometimes add a little bit of chicken to them, it gives them enough substance to fill me up and keep me from getting hungry within an hour or two. I…

green beans or corn. you can microwave a small can of green beans or corn in a bowl with the liquid from the can still for about 45 seconds and they are done. You'd be surprised how much is in one serving size and for less than 100 calories.

Stick with it, and don't forget slow progress is still progress! Especially after you lose some of the initial weight it takes more effort to lose a few lbs, so don't get discouraged if the scale doesn't move every week or even goes up a couple of pounds. Especially as a women it happens as our water weight changes during…

lingerie shopping does that for me too lol

Thank you everybody for your kind words! :D I thought about giving up so many times since 1 lb - 1.5lbs a week didn't seem like much at all, but looking back I'm so glad I didn't. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be able to say I've lost another 50 lbs :) For everybody asking I helped my friend make the arch for her…

This one always works from me. Think about how long it took to get where you are now. Now imagine where you can be in that same amount of time if you keep at it. Now imagine where you'll be if you don't. The times is going to pass anyway so get up and do something about it. :)

I still have a long way to go, but I figured I'd post. I started out at 284. The first picture I was about 270 (i'm the one in the black dress) and the second picture is from last month at about 238.

If you're overthinking, or think your overthinking things, stop weighing yourself everyday and switch to once a week. If you're that concerned with losing or gaining you don't want to freak out from normal fluctuation. I can't really speak on how to maintain weight since I'm still working on losing, but as someone with a…

Always looking for friendly support here too! :) I'm down about 50-ish pounds from my starting weight but still have a good 85 to go. I'll be here when your doing great and when you have off days too because I know I've got them as well.
