I read part of it...the Author's premise is that the wheat manufactured today is Genetically Modified (GMO) and does not represent the wheat of yesterday. So for some people it causes lots of problems.

Protein will satiate you like no other food......eggs, meat, Greek yogurt, but eat lots of quality protein.

I bought a really good scale with the Tare feature. I love it! Couldn't lose weight without it!

I don't count non-starchy veggies....if they are greens and I'm eating normal portions I don't count it. I count all fruit because of the sugar.

Is it Regular ice cream, or diet? Some diet foods contain Inulin...I cannot digest that stuff at all! Just a thought....

Fruit and veggies are a priority. Then protein....eggs, tuna, nonfat Greek yogurt, chicken.....then low cal breads, wraps.....then condiments.....low fat mayo, mustard, ketchup, low cal salad dressings....and buy some spices to spice things up!

Put "plan appropriate" sweets in your home. I love Skinny Cow frozen treats, Vitalicious dark chocolate Vitatops. Whatever your sweet tooth, you can find a substitute. And get rid of the fattening stuff that throws you off plan.

It annoys me when people complain about posts! We are all here to help each other! Weight loss is more complicated than that else we all wouldn't be here! You don't seem like a very patient person. I suggest you find another message board....like for intolerant impatient people!!!

My goal currently is to fit into all the clothes I already have! ha! But since I am a girly girl, I would say clothes, jewelry would be great rewards. Maybe a facial or a body massage would be nice too.

I am! Although the support is awesome, it almost means her being who she is right now isn't good enough. Plus isn't their money in one pot? My husband and I don't have, "my money", "your money"....it's all in one pot. Weird!!!!

How will you know your progress if you don't have a scale? Where will you be weighing yourself? You could probably find one in a hospital, YMCA, etc. But if you don't have concrete goals and no way to measure them, then yes, you will be lost. Bolthouse Farms makes a great line of dressings...made with yogurt and low calorie. It's in the refrigerated section near the salads. They are yummy!!!

You sound bored just talking about your menu, let alone eating it day after day. You will HAVE to change it up to be able to stick with it! Why are you picky? When was the last time you tried something new to eat? Think outside the box...you will be happy that you did! :happy:
