You have to commit to the idea that you want to lose weight and nothing will stand in your way. It's a commitment to yourself. That being said, pizza here and there will not halt your plans. Food is not Good or Bad, YOU are not Good or Bad. Food is just calories...don't let it flip you out. You can do it!! :smile:

Most fish has such a mild flavor. So when you are thinking about how to cook it, think of what flavors you like in general. Do you like spicy food? Lemony taste? Garlic flavor? Basically you can dress fish up with whatever flavors you like! Have fun with it!

If I were you, I would figure out how to gain control of your lingering sinus infections. Maybe you need to eat foods that boost your immune system...fruits and veggies. Also maybe get help from your doctor. Your feeling like crap will not help with your weight loss efforts. Just my 2 cents! Be healthy my friend!! :smile:

The fresher it is, the better it will be for you. I try to consume Organic (don't want to ingest pesticides, etc) and Non GMO (genetically modified). Typically anything that has come out of a lab I limit!

Congrats for jumping back on the bandwagon here!! I recently did myself! The advice I always give myself...."You didn't gain it overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight!" Keeps my patience in check!! :tongue:

Do you cook at all? There are great websites with lots of good, easy recipes out there.Try CookingLight.com or EatingWell.com. Chicken is great, but have you tried Pork Tenderloin? Lots of ways to cook that and very lean.

You have two choices. Bring your own lunch or eat what they provide. As you know,if you bring your own, you will know exactly how many calories you are consuming. Which to me, is more important than getting a free lunch. Because to me, I'm in this to lose weight! Nothing will get in my way! ha!! So ultimately it depends on…

Egg Salad is another idea....high protein and will stick with you. You can make it with Greek yogurt instead of mayo. Soup is a great idea. You could also bake a chicken on the weekend and then make/pack chicken. Also good is veggies and laughing cow cheese.
