I try to look up the nutrition information for a restaurant before we go and pick what I will order based on that. If they don't offer that information, I just do the best I can - salads are good, or eat only half of what they bring me.

I was going to say soup. You could also saute it like you would collard greens or spinach and eat it as a veggie side. I suppose you could also cut it into fine strips and add to salad - might not be so overwhelming with the taste and texture that way.

bump - interesting question - I love making bread myself, but just entered the ingredients on the recipe question and went on with it. I don't know if it would make a noticable difference what the yeast consumes and converts.

I am not an expert, but I think in this situation, if you listen to your body, and keep the calories healthy and good quality, you will be fine. Eat if your hungry, stop when you are not.

I would definitely recommend a polar one. They do have them that look like watches and have chest straps. I had a timex for awhile, and the calories burned were way higher than what I had been getting off of my old Polar. They have them at amazon. Good luck

I really like Rodney Yee Yoga Burn. It sounds like it might be overkill, but it is really a very slow workout where he takes you in and out of each pose/stretch about three times, which really helps to gain flexibilty.
