Totally agree! It really should have two categories. I'm always WAAAY over but I hardly eat things with added, processed sugars.. It's mostly from fruit and naturally sweetened things... Maybe we should suggest it?? Thanks for looking into that, I feel better now!

I am thinking of trying this. I got so bored with doing the same routine for four weeks.. I like how this mixes it up and I want more cardio in my life. Looks intense! I'm going to start 5/29.

For a solid practice, I recommend 3x a week. Try a mat class, then take home what you learned and apply it! Also, once you get into a nice mat routine, bump it up with some reformer work. 50-60 minute sessions are ideal for an entire body workout. Loosing weight too quickly isn't good either! The fact that things are fitting differently is huge! Get off that scale and use a measuring tape! Far too many people rely on a scale for recognition. Keep up the great work :)

I am addicted to barre! I couldn't believe I burned 580 calories at my last class!

Traditional Pilates, 50mins is roughly 175-200 calories. Intermediate to advanced can be over 250, but usually contain lots of push ups (chattarunga) and really working deep into the core to the point of shaking :)

Picking up Pilates was the greatest thing I ever did for myself.. My body has become lean and flexible, along with impeccable posture! I fell in love with it so much I became an instructor!
