So incredible! Congrats on your success, you look amazing!

I was never really fond of any workout until I found Crossfit. I started so weak and overweight, I never thought I could do Crossfit. Little did I know, making the decision to sign up would be the best decision I would ever make! The sense of community is amazing, you learn to really challenge your body like you never have…

I had tried so many diets and jumped on so many fad bandwagons. Each and every time, I had something that triggered my motivation to try and lose weight. Sometimes it was encouraging sayings, others it was feeling just rock bottom bad about myself by the way my clothes fit or looking at pictures of me. I spent years trying…

I would agree with others, it's always easier to eat less calories in the beginning because your body starts eating your fat stores, once those are depleted your body needs more fuel. Also if you've become more active than you were in the past, your body requires more fuel as well. I think 1200 is too low for most people.…

I love how you worded that this was a "journey" because that is exactly what it is! Along the way you will have successes and failures. Just stay positive and focused. If you have a bad day and make poor choices that's ok, move on and get yourself back on track the very next day. Good luck to you, you will get there in…

I'm in too! I have 15lbs left to go and getting towards the end of my weight loss so things are going pretty slow but would love to push myself to get there by Summer! Height: 5'7" Current weight: 165 Goal: 150 by May 30th

Today I...logged in for 40 days! I also did not join the entire office out for lunch and ate my salad I prepared instead.

Girl I was there too! I gained 70lbs with my pregnancy. I was miserable! But I think you need to start slow, definitely try and enjoy your time with your baby girl now, it goes by so fast. Unless you are lucky, you're probably up a lot through the night with her and tired, try and get plenty of rest right now and focus on…

I could use some more motivating friends on here! I log in everyday and would like motivating people who are doing this right with proper diet and exercise. I like to lift and run and do fun events like mud runs, warrior dashes, and other things that challenge me mentally and physically.

Have you noticed other changes like your clothes getting loose? You could be losing inches and not lbs. I'm sure you've heard the adage muscle weighs more than fat. So you could still be losing fat and not losing weight. It's important to know the difference. The weight on the scale truly does not matter, it's how you look…

My suggestion would be to maybe try and find a local class that you can get into that you could maybe just find at least one or two nights a week. I go to a crossfit gym right after work. My daycare can keep her late those days (but maybe you could enlist your husband, parents, etc to sacrifice a bit of their time), I get…

Any chance you can speak with your employer about raising your desk so you can stand? Or they make lifts that you can raise your computer up when you want to stand and lower it back down when you need to sit. That might help if you make yourself stand up for a few minutes every hour, maybe even stretch and walk in place…

@km0476 I'm sure you will! Good luck!

@sapphire1166 that is awesome! It's a pretty awesome feeling! It's nice to hear from your husband or friends that you are look good, but a complete stranger hitting on you drives your confidence through the roof!!! Great job!
-
Thanks @kudaliz !! You will have one to share! Everyday you are creating your own success story, I can't wait to read it!
-
Simply amazing! You look stunning, you have done such a great job! Keep up the awesome work!

Truly amazing! Thanks for sharing!

I took before pictures and I was horrified, but down the road, I was so glad I did! I was starting to get discouraged because I feel like I've been 'at this forever' and I'm still not small! So I took new pictures, same outfit, same pose, and put them side by side. It only showed me how far I've come! It's helped reiterate…

Can't get the stupid scale to move but I went down a jeans size. Scale be damned!
-
Wow! Great job, you definitely earned a success story! Thanks for sharing, very motivational!
-
So true! You're exactly right, would you rather lose weight or fat? Scale hasn't moved much for me, but my clothes are looser, my skin is brighter, my energy is up, and I'm seeing definition in my arms and legs, rather see that then just numbers on a scale go down! Keep up the amazing work you!

Hey OP! I'm 28, 5'7" and currently 174 (down from my sw of 211). I have an open diary and aim for 1400 cals a day though sometimes I go under, sometimes I go over, just depends on the day. I agree with others, 1200 is kind of a low target especially if you do not eat back exercise calories. Eating properly (enough of the…

Great job! I love crossfit too! It's really changed my whole perspective from wanting to be skinny to wanting to be strong! I find myself working out for my workouts so I can dominate in class and push myself even further. You look amazing! Keep up the great work!

You guys are all so great and making me feel like a million bucks!
-
Thanks everyone!

Would love to have more friends and support. I just turned 28. Looking to lose around 20-30lbs but I'm not focusing on the scale as much as I am my clothes and the way I feel. I've been doing crossfit but am also looking for additional fun exciting ways to get exercise in! Feel free to add me!

First of all, congrats on your already successful weight loss! I think you should notice at least some loss in 10 days, even if it's just a couple of ounces, especially since your calorie targets seem to be on point. So that tells me, something is not right about your calorie counts. I took a gander at your diary too, I…

I think it's important to live your life and still go out and do things. However, maybe try and change your lifestyle some. For example, when I go out now, I drink a light beer instead of a full flavor one to save on calories and I drink plenty of water in between. I also try and limit my snacking and try and fill my plate…

I would love to join please!

I have the same problem also. It's a constant struggle for me. I have no willpower so I cannot just enjoy a little of anything. I have to completely avoid it or else I go overboard. I have gone so far as to not have any money on me (besides an emergency credit card that I never use) so I can't buy any fast food or sweets,…
