I don't understand so mfp gives me 1600 a day without exercse and fitbit at the end of the day shows 2600 do i eat 2600?or do I take away 500 from that 2600?

I thought it would be better if I don't eat all of them back I synced fitbit with mfp few months ago and set my mfp to sedentary Thankyou @JanetYellen for the tips I get confused with these numbers because the net calories for today is showing as 500 and I read your net shouldn't be below 1200?

No its throughout day. I'm cold and feeling cold chills through body. Despite wearing layers or being in blanket with heating I feel cold. Even after eating I feel it.

But I haven't really lost much. I lost a few kg that I regained. So I'm pretty much at the weight I began with. I'm going to see my Dr to rule out any medical condition otherwse it must be due to my calories. But although I'm eating less I haven't seen a drop in scale. I don't know! I'm just confused

I don't understand how much I should be eating though Mfp given me 1600 and I set it to lose 0.5kg and lightly active. However I have a fitbit which gives me a burn daily of 2500 to 2800. So I try and net 1600. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right

I need to lose 60 pounds too. Don't know too much but maybe start reducing portions and logging food. You can eat roti daal but just look up calories and log it. If I have a party or family function I'd either eat less that day to fit in the food for later or I indulge one day as that won't make a difference. I lost before…

Thanks for your replies. I think it's partly my own fault as I eat at maintenance one or 2 days and that negates my deficit . I will keep plodding on and hopefully will work it out. I did weigh weekly but I've started to weigh daily now and the scale went down but then around my time of the month it went back up and it's been a week after my time of month and it's gone down but not to the number I was originally. Do you think eating at maintenance for a week would help me determine if im doing it…

Can i ask how much you walked? I walk a lot with my day to day activities and get over 20,000 to 30,000 steps even but I don't do additional walks as exercise.

I agree!! Fluctuations put me off and made me feel like I'm not getting results and I would give up. Now I log daily and see the overall trend.

And yes I think I log correctly. I weigh food using scale and I'm losing weight so I am happy with what I'm doing so far. Was just confused seeing the - number of net calories. For the first time ever I'm not yo yoing I log weight daily on libra app and some days I'm up and down but overall trend is going down

I cant remember if I set it to sedentary or lightly active. According to fitbit I get over 20,000 steps weekdays weekends normally under 10,000 maybe once a month il get over 30,000 such as today. I've never had negative net before it was the first time ever! Yes I get my calorie burns from fitbit I don't log exercse separately.

Yes it should. It counts your steps so if your walking in place it should as long as your moving. Mines does
