But I thought I was eating back my exercise calories ? Mfp gives me 1700 and I'm eating more than 1700. The numbers throw me I get muddled up Somfp gives me 1700 + 400 I get from exercise so I eat 2100 right?

After dinner in evening as I don't eat after 5pm normally my last meal is around 4ish Wouldn't the red kidney beans class as protein lol ? I'm new to all this And no I'm not cutting out anything I'm just reducing my portions and trying to fit what I enjoy in my daily calories

Well I started exercising daily going gym and dance classes pretty much 5 days a week and up to 3 hours in total. I eat around 2000 calories. In the past I logged on mfp I had this I'm unsure if I'm getting the calorie counting wrong somewhere but my bloods are clear so it's not medical

I just checked it's set to public But if my daily goal is 1700 and I've got over 400 via exercise? It's showing my daily goal as over 2100 now but I've already consumed 1700.

Ohok thankyou so much for clearing that I wasn't aware. So I could maybe try eating back 50% of the calories my fit bit sends to mfp and see how I go.x

No but I input my exercise when I set my goals I selected exercise 3 times a week for 60 mins

I'm not sure. I love dancing but haven't done it consistently I do it here n there . I didn't notice my weight loss till I actually started weighing n logging food properly but scale was going down a lot so I wanted to know if it's just water weight

Pakistani here. Don't think that really makes the difference to weight loss though! Eat chapati but try and eat 1 instead of two. Try eating less but of the same thing. Because I still have chapati and curry and pakistani food but if I eat according to calories and log on here I do lose weight! My problem is consistency.…

I was just hoping as I read about CICO and normally it's harder to control calories as we can eat however because it's a strict month and I knew there was no way I could over eat I was hoping I'd hop on to scale and see a loss of some kind! @shadow2soul do you not focus on net calories? I know I asked this before but it always confuses me. Even If I eat at what mfp gives me after fitbit sends over exercise calories my net is low so should I keep my net above a certain amount or just focus on the mfp and fitbit numbers
