  • WOW, WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so super awesome to lose over 300 pounds!
  • I think as long as you are not going overboard you are good. I will have a Coke a day on average. It is like my little indulgence. I mostly drink water (a lot of water) so I figure 1 soda isn't going to curtail my efforts too much. I also prefer regular soda as diet soda just gives me the shakes for some reason.
  • I workout on base as well and see a lot of both. I think the treadmill thing is that these guys just want to knock out that 1.5 miles on there as fast as they can so they are ready for their PT test :)
  • My only complaints are people who do not wipe down equipment, just yesterday the girl next to me on the other elliptical finished her workout and just walked away after. Just eww, wipe your sweaty germy mess up after you are done. Stinky people, deoderant is a wonderful thing to put on before you come to workout, if you…
  • To be fair my phone is my MP3 player and I have an iPhone so I have the Nike+ app that I use on the elliptical so I kind of need my phone in the gym :)
  • I personally would not suggest smoothies, unless you plan on eating them with a spoon. Sucking through a straw can cause dry sockets. I ate soup...granted the sodium levels are rather high but you are not going to be getting a whole lot of calories the first few days otherwise. I was eating somewhat normally by the 3rd…
  • I have personally taken it in the past and did the 1 bottle and then a few weeks off then another bottle. Honestly, the main thing it did for me was not make me hungry. I do not take it anymore because the military has banned them, most GNC stores are not carrying them anymore and Body Building.com is no longer carrying…
  • What I did with my Sheperd when she started to pull is: walk with them on the leash...then they start to pull, turn them around and walk back the way you came (about 4-5 steps) then suddenly turn around again and walk back the opposite way until they pull again, then you repeat. Granted, I looked like a fool for about 20…
  • I will take my dog on walks/runs with me, she is a German Shepherd. What I first suggest is to train them on the leash to stay to one side of you and make sure they do not weave back and forth. We (and anyone walking her) will keep her to the left and she stays right there. That way I do not have to worry about her jumping…
  • Love, love LOVE my Ninja!!!!
  • My guess is because the unisex diet pills will effect men and women differently. My husband can take two or three of a unisex diet pill and be just fine whereas I take 1 and my heart goes nuts.
  • I tried them way back when (like 2003) and my heartrate shot up like mad! I had never had that happen before. I would not recommend them.
  • The military has also banned them because 2 Army soldiers died during PT while taking it...no idea if the OEP is to blame; however, the military decided to ban them just the same.
  • I started Monday too :) I am also going to be running and probably throw in some Zumba too...haha. Good luck!!!!!!!!!
  • There is a great website I use to buy my shoes www.roadrunnersports.com they will "help" you find the best shoes for your running style. For instance, my husband has flat feet so it helps him determine the best shoes for that and now he does not have pain when he runs. Plus they have very good prices and have a 90-day wear…
  • ^^^^ Deserves to be repeated!!!! Rape is NOT about sex, it is about exerting power over another person.
  • This is what I thought...we are stationed in the UK (husband is US military) and while I run on base where it is fairly safe I did not think we were allowed to carry things like mace, knives, tasers, etc in the UK. They have some strict laws...I do not believe the police even carry guns, I think they just started carrying…
  • Woohoo :) this is my first time doing it. I finally got through day 1 at like 9pm...lol...BUT i did make myself do it so that was good. Now just 89 more days to go....lol. There is also a group, it is called Turbo Fire Hotties that I joined yesterday, I think it will be great motivation! I also decided that I am kind of…
  • My favorite is the Oh Yeah! Chocolate & Caramel. It tastes like a Baby Ruth :)
  • My favorite is the venti skinny peppermint mocha with no whip cream. It is still about 170 calories but oh so worth it :). Only thing there I really like.
  • Very very true!! They had to do an ultrasound on my heart to see the MVP
  • Agree with the recommendations to see a cardiologist. I have Mitral Valve Prolapse and at times my heart rate will be rather high. When I was pregnant with my son my heart rate shot so high they had to put the monitor on me to measure his rate against mine...they were that similar.
  • http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/obesity/DS00314/DSECTION=causes Causes By Mayo Clinic staff Although there are genetic and hormonal influences on body weight, obesity occurs when you take in more calories than you burn through exercise and normal daily activities. Your body stores these excess calories as fat. Obesity…
  • My daughter wore a shirt that said I am going to be a Big Sister :).
  • YES YES!!! I was thinking the same thing!
  • No, if you are flying for work then they are paying for the original seat...if you need two seats, you need to cough up the money for the extra seat. It is not your job's fault that you cannot fit in one seat. If I wanted to fly 1st class on a flight, I would have to pay the extra, my job is only going to pay for a…
  • Honestly, yes. Think about it...would you want to sit next to someone who cannot fit in one seat? You would be so uncomfortable on that flight because they would literally be spilling over into the seat YOU paid for. Whereas if the obese person had paid for 2 seats originally then no one would be sitting next to them.
  • If I saw someone overweight running I would honestly think to myself, "How awesome! That person is on the road to becoming healthier and changing their lives". I would not think something mean at all. There will always be the jerks out there but do not let them get you down!
