  • Looking really good. Effort does pay off.
  • I too get impatient with my weight loss journey. I have a problem with my breathing and can’t do as much exercise as I’d like but I do what I can. The more I do the better it gets. It has taken me 3 yrs to lose 35 lbs but at least it is going in the right direction. I just have to keep reminding myself that slow but sure…
  • As of tomorrow, Jan 1st, just for today I will. . . 1. Log everything I eat. 2. Try to drink at least 8 glasses of water. 3. Make exercise a priority, even if it is just going for a walk. I was doing really well before and it's time stop sabotaging myself and get back to doing well again. I know I am an emotional eater and…
  • Feel free to add me. I'm always looking for friends for mutual encouragement and motivation.
  • Try Champix to quit smoking. It worked for me and I was a smoker for over 50 yrs. Never thought I would be able to do it, but it worked like a charm and even now, if I get a craving, it goes away in minutes.
  • Hi feel free to add me. I have just started back and I'm looking for mutual support and encouragement.
  • I am 5'2 and have also recently recommitted. I have a lot to lose, but this time I am connecting with others and making myself accountable in the hopes that I don't give up this time. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Would love to become your friend. Feel free to add me, I need all the support and encouragement I can get.
  • to sexymamadraeg - Don't let others discourage you. You have done awesome so far and will continue to do so. Sometimes I think the ones that are discouraging us are the ones that are jealous of what we have accomplished. You have to feel sorry for those people and not let them get to you.
  • I am exactly the same, I was spending more time on FB before. Sometimes I think I am on this site too much because I'm not getting other things done but I'm just getting back to MFP and this time I am connecting with others. Normally that wouldn't be me, but I'm hoping that being accountable will make a difference and keep…
  • I can use all the friends I can get. Feel free to add me.
  • Thanks for the website.
  • My A-Ha Moment was when the camera on my computer came on accidently and I saw myself from an angle that really showed the double (if not triple) chin. I have known for awhile that thinks were getting out of control because my summer clothes weren't fitting and nothing looked right when I was trying to get ready to go out…
  • I was told by a fitness trainer once that you should eat within 1 hour after getting up to get your metabolism going. Otherwise, it won't kick in until quite a bit later in the day. Apparently it slows right down while sleeping and unless you kick start it, it doesn't realize it needs to do it's job.
  • Just got back to this and looking for MFP friends. I'm from Ontario. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Hi, I can totally relate to what you are saying. I am 5'2" and 240 lbs. This is my second time trying MPF. I am an emotional eater and that is one of the reasons I went off the rails the last time. I also hear the same thing from my husband about "just eat less". On top of that, I have asthma & COPD which makes it…
  • Hi, just getting back myself after being off for a while. I need to lose about 70 lbs and find it hard to exercise because breathing problems due to asthma and COPD. I would love to have a MFP friend for mutual motivation and encouragement.
  • Hi, my name is Kathy and I'm from Ontario. I have been overweight most of my life. I recently returned to MFP after falling away from the tracking and exercising and back into the old habits. I have asthma and some COPD and the extra weight makes it difficult to breathe and exercise. I would like to break the sugar and…
