This is a great question. I never thought of those on Beta blockers not being able to reach their true Max heart rate or how this changes calories burned via HRM or even the read on a cardio machine at a gym. IMO I would think the calories burned would truely be higher than what monitor shows. You are working as hard as…

Scott I have had no problems with the phen. Only side effect at the beginning was dry mouth and I don't have that issue anymore either. Yes phen also helps with metabolism. Doc said it is nothing I will be on long term. Just till I get used to the new foods, less calorie intake. Once I am not having issues with over eating…

When I started 12-14 weeks ago with a board certified wellness doctor I was placed on phentermine to help kick start things and help with hunger. I was placed on 1400 calorie diet. Last week had my test tested and was 220. I elected to get test in pellet form. Slow releasing, and I get the pellets 3x a year. The one thing…

A lot of in shape guys at work do crossfit. I tried 3 months ago when I started this journey and could not. Though you can tailor the WOD (workout of the day) to your fitness level, in my opinion you need to have some general fitness. I did my first WOD last week and still was not easy. Biggest thing is to find someone who…

I accept it will take a year or little more (hope not) to get to goal. Anyone feel free to send friend request. Always nice…

You can help build your core stronger but you can't specify to your body where the fat comes off first. Like the other poster stated just have to work at losing fat overall.

I agree with everyone that pasta and chocolate milk isnt going to cut it. He needs protein since he is lifting. Needs something to rebuild those muscles. Does he eat before he works out...need something in the engine to make it work then eat some good complex carbs mixed with protein after. Also need to eat more...seems…

First you have to eat to lose weight. Sound odd but it is the truth so eat what you are allotted to eat. As far as the fruit try and combine it with some protein. The protein will last longer to keep you from getting hungry. So apple and peanut butter or PB2, piece of cheese, ect. Also it is just day one so relax and take…

Thanks for all the replies. Been using app fro a while but never directly on the web site. Certainly staying with doctor.
