  • Eating Well has a whole series of wonderful cookbooks (e.g., Eating Well on a Budget, Eating Well Rush Hour Cookbook, Eating Well in a Hurry, etc.). Eating Well also has a web site and magazine. I recommend both for nutritious and tasty meals. I also recommend the Revised Moosewood Cookbook by Molly Katzen, Appetite for…
  • I've been eating salads with home-cooked chickpeas (you can rinse the canned ones), spring mix salad greens, mushrooms, red onion slices, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, tomato slices, balsamic vinegar. I also take medication that makes me crave sweets. When I'm craving…

  • I just joined MFP today, but I already started logging the huge salad that I had for dinner. I'm still trying to follow Dr. Fuhrmann's advice by including GBOMBS (Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries, Seeds) in each one. Salad dressing can really add up in a hurry. I use balsamic vinegar with dijon mustard for extra…
