I also weigh myself every day, just can't kick the habit, but I only record it on Fridays.

Great job! What a milestone!

I agree, there is no secret, you just have to be ready for a change and be willing to do what it takes. I find that this site and the MFP community helps hold me accountable, which is so important. Also, I schedule my workout time... its actually written on my calendar at a specific time, and I consider it non-negotiable,…

I am also a very active member, log in daily and an workout daily. I'd love to provide my support. Ashlee

Though I do have a fb account, I rarely post on there. MFP is my fb ;-)

Thanks everyone! Its a new recipe, so if its good I'll definitely post it :-)... kinda taking a chance it will be by making enough to freeze lol!

I too hated yoga when I first started, it was long and boring. But I kept at it, and while I don't love it, I have learned to appreciate it for its benefits. Once I started to see changes in my ability it wasn't so bad, so my advice is to keep at it for a bit longer, maybe seeing the benefits will help.

Wow! Amazing results!

I have not participated in it (missed the registration deadline by 1day :@) but I did still go and watch. It actually didn't look that difficult, and I was truely surprised by the variety in fitness levels of people participating and finishing. You If you want to competitive in the race upper body strenght and and the…

I have an article I can send to anyone interested, just send me a message, that talks about this. The gist of it is that your body has a growth hormone spike while you sleep, this aids in the metabolism of fat and having food in your system can interfere with that spike, so by sleeping while your body is not in the midst…

Great job! You look fantastic :-)

Just started another round yesterday (p90x/insanity hybrid) in preparation for p90x2 on January 1st!! We're already friends, but we can definitely support each other :-D
-
That is fantastic! Good for you for making this realization and doing something about it. So many people just get complacent and dont make the effort. This is the first step and YOU CAN DO IT!!
-
I am with you too! Have an anniversary trip to Hawaii planned and I want the feel confident and know I look amazing. Starting my workout program in full force October 1, until then just doing my thing getting ready to BRING IT! :-)

Be careful, its addicting. My work has blocked it, and I feel like I may be to blame LOL!
-
Great Job!

You've done amazing so far, and with determination you can keep on going! Keep it up!! :D
-
I sent you a request :). I can't wait to hear how you do with Insanity!! That is one crazy workout, but so worth it!!

I'd say make sure to use chicken breast, reduce the amount of cheese and butter, and use low fat cheese and cut out the sour cream or if you really really want it use light sour cream. Also replace the flour tortillas with corn tortillas and make sure you're using low sodium chicken broth.

I had fantastic results with a few of the Beachbody programs... they are great because they arent only exercise programs, they also come with nutrition plans, so it takes all of the guess work out, which is what I need :)

I absolutely loved P90x, you can see my before and after pictures on my profile, but id say look into all three and see what works for you. What is your goal? To tone up or build muscle?

I'm interested in hearing what others have to say about this too. Hubby and I have been trying for 2+ years and I always take it easy during the 2ww, even though my Dr. said it isn't necessary, I just cant help but think all the moving makes it hard for it to "stick" lol. and going easy 2 weeks every month for the past 2…

Sounds delish! can't wait to try it.

Yum! I can't wait to try some of these :)

Laughing cow cheese and almond milk

You can do it! And I'm so excited that you are ready to start this journey! It isn't going to be an easy one, but it is so worth it, and with support of groups like this you've got no reason you cant succeed :)

OMG....it gets so much better, don't give up! I had the exact same concerns when i started P90X, it was my least favorite workout on the schedule, and the first few times I did it I only made it through about 30 minutes. I thought it was boring and too hard... but let me tell you, as time went on I began to look forward to…

I'm 5'2" and have some before and after pics on my website, you will find the link on my profile (just a quick disclaimer, I am a Beachbody Coach) so i don't want to post the link on here and violate the Message Board rules ;)

Those programs are designed to be your primary source of exercise if you are following the program 100%. I did however supplement my P90X with running, because I had enough energy to do so. But if you don't have enough time, energy, desire, the program will still be effective by itself. Hope that helps. Ashlee

You've found a great network of support in this MFP site! There are so many people here to helpt motivate and support you :). I've lost 20lbs since February, so anything I can do to help, just let me know. Ashlee
