Thank you! These pics where over a year apart, however, but it wasn't a year of constant work, there were lots of ups and downs in that period before I finally got my act together and really got after it. In the 90days I was doing insanity/p90x hybrid is when I saw the biggest changes, going from a size 6 to a size 0!

I make a big batch of protein pancakes on Sunday and have them on hand during the week. I have a rolling chair at work too, but i back it into the corner of my office... no rolling :). I also occasional wear ankle weights and when I'm at home, I'll do lunges as i walk around the house or do squats when loading laundry into the machine instead of just bending over. It's all about finding ways to incorporate it…

Bulk comes from fewer reps and heavier weights (8-10), Lean muscle comes from more reps (12-15) but going to 50 or 100.... he's definitly not gonna get the results he wants... 15 should still be a struggle.

I'm doing Insanity (actually a p90x/insanity hybrid) right now, I can tell you there is no workout like it... I would do ripped in 30first. I actually did a full round p90x first to prepare. P90x is a great one for strength training too.

You'll do great, instead of thinking about how nervous you are, or the things your unsure about tell yourself you can do it and remind yourself that you are prepared. I have to speak in public all the time for work, and just having confidence in my self makes all the difference. Its about your attitude. You'll do great!

While I'm no expert and can't specifically answer your question I can tell you my experience. I had heard from some friends that when I was following the P90x nutrition plan on my first round that it was too much protien, but I followed the plan to a T anyway and had fantastic results. I'm currently doing P90X/Insanity hybrid workout, I love it, great variety. I also really enjoy riding bikes, so now that its finally cooling off here in AZ, I'll probably start doing that again :)

I think you need to do what works best for you... I always tell people that for me scheduling my workouts, actually writing them down on my calendar at a specific time, is what works for me. I think you do need a rest day, but having your workout on a calendar and considering it non-negotiable may help with the motivation.

I'm not much of a morning person so I need a quick breakfast too. So I typically have a shakeology shake every morning, its quick and I can just mix it up in my shaker cup and go, or make it at work. And it keeps me full all morning.

For steel cut oats I use 1/3 cup Oats (cooked on the stove with half water, half almond milk) with ½ banana & sliced strawberries, served with a dash of cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar .. YUM!

Good for you! I found that once I started eating healthier my body started craving the food it needed like fruits and veggies, and MFP has really helped me see the difference from days I do make unhealthy choices and those where I listen to what my body is telling me :)

I will either have Shakeology or just a protien shake. Usually depends on what flavor I'm in the mood for that helps me decide. Since the shakeology flavor I buy is chocolate, sometimes I want something fruity so ill make a protien shake and throw in some fresh or frozen fruit.
