ok let me see if i have this right BMR is 1414 1414 x 1.3 = 1838.2 1414 + 1000= 2414 2414- 1838 = 576 so i can burn up to 576 calories a day and eat no more than 1515. which is 100 more than my BMR? I set my MFP at maintain and it only goes to 1770 so that is what i will start with. burn up to 576 a day and stick around…

you will start toning..stop weighing yourelf for a few months and go by the way your clothes fit. The scale is just a number. Go off of how you feel. more energized i bet!

So what if we just ate 1500 calories a day and exercised? But if we burn over 600 calories eat the extra.. is it the same thing? I am afraid if i change my settings i will see oh i have 1770 each day to eat and i will eat them :-(

I agree. Switch up your routine. Take a step class at the gym and wait for the machine or do some floor cardio. Be creative. Sometimes i put Michael Jackson on and just dance like crazy in the livivng room. i get sweaty and my heart rate goes up. Make it fun!!And soon you will be the skinny mini on the machine. Stay Strong…

I am 41 and my doctor told me to eat at least 40 grams a day. I understand what you are saying on the website increasing it with exercise. i tend to ignore certain increases..

I agree with UpEarly..Calories in Calories out has worked for me as well ( 40 pounds lighter in a year)..Portion Control is the best way to change you way of life. limit you bad days..

I Love Love Love Dexter...Season 4 is the BEST sop far! I walked around the house for hours saying..what just happened..No it could not of happened that way..Season 5 is good too..can't wait for season 6..I even planted a Blood Orange tree :smile:

I have the same problem i gain at least 5 pounds during my time of the month. i still exercise and eat healtyh too. It is just water retention.

I used to get shin splints as well..I agree lots of stretching before and after..good running shoes is a must..I do not get them as much anymore i stopped running and took it slow..intervals on the treadmill to build up the shins. now i can run up to 10-15 minutes without shin splints :o)
