No idea what any of that means. How about giving it to us in layman terms. I do know when I try and enter just general 40 minutes of circuit training into MFP at my height and weight it logs it as 530-550 cals burned. I also know I've lost 30+ pounds using my HRM and MFP in conjunction. So the HRM certainly can't be that…

Please explain the bolded. If an HRM isn't designed to support a cardio session then what exactly was it designed for?
-
Like milla1985 I also use a Polar HRM and I find it to be the most accurate. MFP's numbers can be way off. For reference a 40 minute Insanity video like Pure Cardio I will burn between 450-480 cals. Where as a 25 minute T25 video like Speed 2.0 I will be around 330-350 cals burned. Something less active like say P90X3 CVX…

I eat something small prior to the workout. I also take C4 and I find on an empty stomach it makes me a little shaky. So eating something small like a cheese stick helps prevent that and gives me a little boost during the routine. I also drink Amino X during the workout.

Can't out train a bad diet. Doesn't matter how many vids you do if you aren't eating at a deficit the weight isn't going to come off. Like mirrim52 said make sure you are accurately tracking your intake. If you are and the weight isn't coming off reduce intake until it does. Check your approximate TDEE via a calculator and…

Yes to both questions :)

One of the hardest things for me to do was move off of a heavy cardio regime and go to a 50/50 cardio/weights program. I feared I would gain back the progress I made. But after a 3 month plateau I had to find something new to try. Been doing a Body Beast/Insanity hybrid for the past 4 weeks and the pounds have started…

I take C4 pre workout instead of their E&E and Amino X and About Time vegan protein powder post workout. That's it other then protein bars.

I'm currently doing an Insanity/Body Beast Hybrid. Body Beast on Tuesday, Thurs, and Sat, and Insanity on Mon, Wed, Fri. Gives me a good mix of cardio and weights. Getting very pleasing results. Love Body Beast but I've only done the lifting vids so far. Sagi is quite entertaining.
-
Insanity is great but it's also on the extreme end of HIIT. If you are just beginning you may find it to extreme. There is no modifier on screen like T25. If you are already doing HIIT training then it should be fine for you.
-
For Cardio: I'm all about Shaun T 1- Insanity 2- T25 3- Insanity Asylum For strength: I love Sagi and Tony Horton 1- Body Beast 2- P90X3 3- P90X I usually end up doing a hybrid of two programs at once.

I actually gave up Max 30 early because there is to much upper body. Reason being I tend to follow a 3 days a week weights, 3 days cardio regime. So I usually do a hybrid Insanity/Body Beast schedule. While doing Max 30 just about every single video has a circuit where you are doing push ups, plank in/outs, burpees, etc.…

Lately I've been blasting the new Pop Evil album. The track "Trenches" is great for weights.

6 days. 3 days cardio (M,W,F)/ 3 days weight training (T, T, S). The cardio days I usually do an Insanity video or a combo of T25/P90X3 vids. Weight training days I do Body Beast and then add in some of my own exercises. Typically I allot an hour for my workouts. I find being on the 50/50 split between cardio and weights…

T25 is 25 minutes per video. Need a couple of dumbbells and a yoga mat to do the entire program.

I have the vivofit with the red bar and it has made a huge difference for me. Prior to it I really hadn't realized how inactive I was at work. I have a desk job but I have the ability to get up and walk often but I never did really. I would just go home after work kill myself with some Insanity and thought that was enough.…

Chicken Parm or Pizza. If I'm gonna cheat it's gonna be Italian

Sure thanks

Max Out Sweat today certainly lived up to it's name. 410 cals burned in the 30 minutes. Right up there with Friday Fight as far as difficulty goes.
-
Nothing worse then flatulence on a heavy protein day... good Lord I can't even stand my own on those days.
-
I hate Shaun T every day for 30 minutes to. I swear at him and call him every name in the book. Then when he calls time and does that smile and cool down I love him again :)
-
Thats an awesome max out time for just starting. Most I've made it so far is about 12 mins and that was after four weeks doing the vids.
-
It was tough but I don't feel like it was much worse then phase one. Just felt like a continuation of it. New moves... Genie Tuck Jumps maxed me out around 8 minutes or so I think. Burned 380 cals in the 30 mins. Overall I would say if you are doing well in phase 1 moving on to 2 you will be fine.
-
I'm moving on to phase two tonight. Can't imagine how much harder it's going to be. :s

Yea the lack of stretching in this program is dangerous. When I first started T25 I was jumping into the videos cold and within the first week I tweaked my achilles and ended up hobbling around for a couple of weeks. After that I made it a habit to stretch before, during, and after. Even the original Insanity jumping right…

I got a Garmin Vivofit for Xmas and I am loving it so far. The red activity bar, being waterproof, and not having to charge it is a huge bonus for me. Plus with it being strapped to my wrist I can't lose it. My wife uses a fitbit and is constantly looking for the damn thing :p
-
Wasn't feeling the Tabata today so did two videos from P90X3. CVX and my always favorite MMX. No matter how many times I do that MMX video it still kicks my butt. I will be sore tomorrow for sure.
-
Swapped out Sweat Intervals with the Sweat Fest bonus vid. Very good video. Has the old school Insanity format with the warmup then stretching in the beginning. Then the circuits. Burned 387 cals in the 30 minutes.
-
Made it 13 minutes tonight before the Max Out. The second or third round of those in out abs got me. I was trying so hard to get through that circuit but my arms just gave out :s

I just wear it on my wrist. I'm not overly concerned with the aesthetic properties of the device. The fact that it functions as a watch is good enough reason for me to have it on. I did read reviews that when doing certain functions it is better to have it in your pocket as the pedometer won't detect unless you are…
