Pretty much everthing I was going to say. Don't sacrifice. Explore! I know tons of picky eaters (I'm the complete opposite) and what I've learned about them is there is no budging. If you don't like it don't eat it. If you like it and its not really "good" for you, just keep your calories in check and you'll be fine.

I'm 25, 5 7 and weight 179. My highest was 183 this summer, my lowest was 127 when I was 21. I would like to get back to about 140/145ish where I was a year ago at this time.

I've tried it and it doesn't work for me. It just frustrates me because I lose my weight in different places every time. A few years ago I dropped almost 20lbs in 3 months and my pants were HUGE but my tops were still tight as I hadn't lost anything in my arms, back, or bust.

Dont let *kitten* get you down. These ladies are right. The things he says say a lot more about him than you. Anyone inconsiderate enough to say something to a total stranger has bigger issues than any of us will ever have. He was drunk and stupid and being a terrible person.

Yup. I've never been to chipotle, but I do love dining out. I usually ask for a box right off the bat. I put 1/2 of the food in the box before I even take a bite because most restaurants will serve about 4 servings per plate. If I get a diner burger my son and I usually share it (he's 3) and we're both more than satisfied.…

Still excited about not having to unbutton my pants when I sit down at work.

Calling WLS the easy way out is like telling a mother who's had a c section that she took the easy way out. Although I totally understand what you're saying, I don't agree with it. Months of recovery, still having to count calories), having to learn what you can and cannot eat, and still having to exercise seems like the…

Check out my profile. You need to focus first on your mental health. You can always lose weight later, but your mental health is paramount.

Breathe! It's probably just water and waste lol Check the scale again tomorrow, and the day after.

You've come to the right place. I'm fairly new myself, but I've gotten nothing but warm welcomes and sincere support. (I signed up a long time ago but just now started using MFP) I'm proud of you for taking the first step and I look forward to seeing you around the boards!! You don't need a scale. If you're gung ho about…

You look younger Your arms and face are more defined, and your "love handles" are gone. Keep it up! Just make sure to stick to your committment and reintroduce carbs soon. Your body needs them to thrive.

But for real I'm planning on making beef sliders with pickle, tomato, lettuce and grilled onion, and steamed corn on the side. Raw carrot and celery sticks, and cherry tomatoes. The george foreman grill lets me make mini meatballs then press them all down into mini sliders at once. I love the portion control, my son thinks…

I'm just starting, but I don't even own a scale. My parent's have one at their house a few blocks from me and I plan on weighing in every 2 weeks or so over there. As long as you stick to your daily goals you should progress at a steady rate whether you step on it or not. I didn't need a scale to tell me I got big--my…

Brush it off. People don't think half the time, and the other half just don't care. As for pooping: I always have to poop after a run or a long walk. I think its because we're drinking more water and moving things along with the muscle function. I walk/run, poop, shower, then have a snack. TOM: Drink lots of water and stay…

I usually "cheat" a little everyday. Its usually something not really healthy for me but that still fits into my daily calorie count. I have 1550 Calories and usually only do about 1300 anyway, so the spare 200 is all mine. Sometimes a small iced coffee, sometimes a couple oreo's, sometimes an extra serving of pasta or…

Free new jeans lol I love it CONGRATS on your journey so far!!

I preplan my lunches when I get to work based on the cafeteria menu. If the menu says something I don't want or they switch it up last minute I adjust it accordingly. I treat my meal diary and planning like a guideline, not like a Bible.

This is going to happen very soon in my house.
