That I can't answer as to why, my understanding is that the army has a Weight Chart for Initial Accession ( aka joining up). So some recruiters will recommend this intermittent fasting program aka the name military diet
-
I just have to add in it's called the military diet because it's given to some recruits when they want to join but can't make weight, also some doctors use it pre surgery. Not because people in the military eat this way. Sorry had to add cause if I saw one more post " I've been in the military x amount of years and we've…

I wouldn't do an insane workout without a break but this is pretty light, just effective because of the cardio and circuit training
-
Thanks for the response. This is maybe my 3rd time doing it. Never without a break though. First time I lose about 8lb but a ton of inches, 2nd time I wasn't as into my diet so only lost a couple inches. So far I haven't lost anything but my legs look more fit, in the past I never get any weight loss until the last 10…

I don't go to a gym. I have weights at home for strength and use running for cardio. There are tons of free workouts on youtube and on demand if you have cable. And lots of website can put a program together for you to follow for free.
-
Although to keep it running all day will probably kil your battery. And it doesn't count steps just distance, Sorry ignore my previous comment :)
-
Endomondo ( I use the free version) tracks walking running hikiing skiing list goes on and on.. Then it will automatically add it to your My fitness pals exercise log ( after you link the two accounts)

I work out at home, She is in preschol from 7:30 to 5:30 so I just feel guilty taking her to the gym daycare after that all day. I have an eliptical in the basement , weights , mats , balls and lots of videos. I normally workout after she is sleeping.

My daughter is a great eater. She is only 3 and in preschool so I pack her breakfast lunch and two snacks daily. One of her favorite snacks is cherry tomatoes , cucumbers and crumbled blue cheese. Someone mentioned sugarfree chocolate, I avoid giving her fake sugar as much as possible I'd rather her have the real thing in…

Running was my favorite before the kid but now it's just too much. I even bought a BOB but she is very distracting while trying to run and I'm always having to stop to wipe her nose or she dropeed something and the reason I love to run was the free thinking. Once it's nice out again I go home and make dinner first and pack…

Here in North Jersey you'd be laughed at for even going to a Dominos, Pizza hut or Papa Johns I'd imagine we hang somone tryig to pass ketchup and white bread off as pizza.

For those who like Chiplote another way to cut calories - if getting tacos you don't have to get 3! you can order 1 or 2 also. I always get 2 steak tacos -pico salsa- cheese and lettuce. Two really does fill you up! 350 cal 12 g of fat and 677 mg of sod.

If you choose white make it a spritzer with 1/2 club soda and a wedge of lime. 1/2 the calories and can still enjoy a social drink.
