  • Good luck! Stick to it, enter in all of your calories even on cheat days....It motivated me to see how "bad" I was being when I would eat at cheeseburger that was 1100 calories....It helps put things in perspective. Good luck! I have been consistent since January, and I have lost almost 30 pounds and gone from a size 14 to…
  • Here's one that I have used. http://www.myvirtualmodel.com/en/index.php
  • My cousin is an avid sky diver...He has done thousands of jumps, and 300 + man formations. He had an accident sky diving when he was kind of showing off....He turned to do a quick maneuver when he was about 30 feet from the ground to do a trick, and he lost the wind in his shoot and hit the ground. He broke both femur…
  • Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing.
  • I wonder how many calories I have burned looking at his HOT pictures...It did raise my heart rate.
  • Hello, I am also addicted to this site....I asked the same question a while back, and here is the link to the responses that I got. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/12138-eating-all-your-calories-reassurance-please Think about it this way....Michael Phelps (The Olympic swimmer) eats 12,000 calories a day. He burns…
  • The Olympic swimmer, who is racking up the world record of the most gold medals eats 12,000 calories everyday, and he weighs under 200 pounds. Proof that we can eat our exercise calories!!

  • Hello, I have lost about 20 pounds recently (some before MFP), and I have about 10 more to lose. The first 20 came off pretty quickly, but now I feel stuck. I am on a 1200 calorie plan (1.5 pounds per week). I have heard to change my work out routine, or increase my calories. Anyone out there with advice on how they broke…
  • stick with it! It will get easier. I have never been a runner, I am top heavy so I don't like all of the bouncing around that happens on the treadmill. Now, I wear 2 sports bras and I am up to running 4 miles straight. I started out about 6 months ago....and I could only jog for about 5 minutes, and then walk 5 minutes.…
  • There was a series on "the learning channel" called "I can make you thin, by Paul McKenna" I'm not sure if this is available online or on DVD somewhere. He had a whole episode on emotional eating and binge eating and he had great tips to get past it.
  • Hello, I had a similar question here are the responses I got. Hope this helps. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/12649-work-out-at-night-calorie-dilemma
  • When I run on the treadmill I run with no incline. I went running outside and the hills killed me. Also, if it is hot outside I don't run as well. I think the treadmill propels you along, while outside you have to keep that momentum up on your own. Either way, good for you for running!!
  • Have fun when you go, I will say hi to Mickey for your:smile:
  • I think we are going to pack our lunch and snacks and then eat out for dinner. I went to Disneyland in February and I ordered the kids meals a couple of times. (Chicken, green beans and applesauce) It actually filled me up. It's the night time buffets that worry me!
  • Hello, I am going to Disneyworld for 1 week! I read that you walk an average of about 10 miles a day all over the theme parks. I am excited about all of the walking, but nervous about all the junk food I will be around. Does anyone have some helpful tips?
  • I had this same question a while ago, here is the response I got......I hope I pasted this correctly? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/12649-work-out-at-night-calorie-dilemma
  • If it makes you feel better, I blew it big time this weekend. I went to a wedding and had about 6 drinks, and cake and they had a chocolate fondue bar. WOW I blew it. Today is a new day!! Don't get discouraged.
  • Bananas are 100 calories....Healthy, but you can get a quick bump in calories if you need it. Personally, if I have left over calories, I reward myself with a "forbidden food". I had 2 chocolate chip cookies the other night, because I had enough calories to do so.
  • A great motivator for me is to have small goals......Next time you get on the scale and you see 239, you can celebrate being in the 230s.....Then your next step will be to look forward to seeing numbers in the 220s and so on. Good luck to you!!! You can do it. Just think, the healthier you are, the longer you will live to…
  • Good luck to you. This site is great. I have had a couple of babies too, and the weight gain is no fun. I have lost about 20 pounds so far. (5 since I joined this site 2 months ago). I am down to my last 10 to 15 pounds, so it is coming off slowly. I love how logging in your food really makes you think twice about what you…
  • Thanks for this post.....I am kind of in the same boat. I have been on for about 2 months and lost 5 pounds. (Before joining I lost about 15 more). I have maybe 10 or 15 more to go. I can tell that my body is looking better, but the scale has slowed down!!
  • Ha Ha, I actually looked up "bedroom exercises" to see how many calories it burns :smooched:
  • I am always going over on protein as well. Thanks for asking this question, I am curious too.
  • Yippie!! Most of my jeans are size 12, I have a couple size 14s post baby. I just bought a size 6 pair!!! They are mighty tight, but I can zip them up comfortably!
