Thank you both! So theoretically, if I choose "1-3 hours/wk light exercise and I don't actually do 1-3 hrs/wk of light exercise I'd be consuming too many calories.

This exactly. Except I just did the math in my calculator. I am bar-graph challenged. :laugh: So last night I calculated my weekly calorie goal, subtracted my calories from Sat & Sun and then divided that by 5 (Mon - Fri). I weigh in Sat. AM. If I stick to the daily calorie goal for M-F, I will have still consumed a total…

Great job Denise - honestly I think you did great. This is life and how many times do you get to sample authentic chinese with someone FROM CHINA?? Moderation is the key and I bet your calories isn't quite as high as you thought it might be.

OK deep breaths! :) Egg drop soup is really low in calories. And then I would get a chicken and broccoli or chicken with veggie stir fry and eat half of it. Also get brown rice if they serve it. Shrimp and veggie would also be low cal.

Yep I'm in the same boat! Kids are almost 4 and 10 months. I was 20 lbs heavier when I got pg with #2 and gained 50 lbs with him. The weight came off much easier with my 1st then my 2nd so here I am with 45-55 lbs to lose. Good luck!

I agree with Denise that even a little bit helps. I read recently that it is just as beneficial to get several short workouts in than one longer session. And that you should get up and walk for 10 minutes ever 2 hours. I know that might not be doable for a lot of people but I think it does make a difference. I have noticed…
