woohoo! I'm doing it tomorrow. I hope i can make it all the way through. I will say that I'm a little afraid to go back to intervals after a 20 min run. I did w5d2 yesterday and when I started the 5 min walk, my legs felt like jello. It would have been easier to just keep on running you know?

thanks!

aww the things I get to look forward to with my son. I think talking to him about it will just embarass him more. But it also depends on how close you are. if you have a pretty open relationship, you can talk to him about it. Assure him that what he was doing is not wrong, nor should he be ashamed (assuming he was since he…

my feet and hands?

This is absolutely awesome! Thank you. I just ordered a set of cap dumbbells from Amazon so i'm glad I found this post
-
I guess I would need a food scale for that huh? :)
-
I needed this post. I just finished week 4 today and I'm a little afraid of next week. I'm going to give it my all though
-
t.y. Sorry about that
-
so, how do you figure calories for something like this? I mean I could add up all the calories in the marinade but I'm not really eating all that
-
this is a great tip. I'll try that. I did week 4 day 2 yesterday. I actually ran for 5 minutes! My starting pace was a 11.5-min mile, and by the last minute it was closer to a 13-min mile but I did it without walking. It was the longest I've ever gone! Looking forward to the weeks to come

oooh sounds good. I'm always looking for new chicken recipes. thanks!

Loooooooove BBT! I call it sex. If the kids are awake, I dont really say anything. A discreet slap on hubby's butt gives him the message
-
I can. I mostly cook ground turkey in place of hamburger and chicken breasts. I also buy those whole rotisserie chickens from Costco and save the meat in the freezer for wraps and salads
-
This was absolutely awesome

I ordered a pea protein powder from amazon. It's tasteless...not sure if that's a good thing or not. I mostly like to add it too green smoothies so I think it should be ok. I'm still feeling super fat but I will stick to it. on the plus side, Im doing c25k and I managed to run 5 minutes without walking today. I started out…

I will check out all those. Thank you all so much. if I eat dairy it seems to reallyy affect him. I had pizza yesterday and he slept horribly. He woke up every one to two hours, which typically happens when I eat anything with milk
-
Thank you. Its so hard to just keep seeing a gain.I do eat too much sodium and probably not enough protein. I would love to add more protein but its difficult since my son is allergic to dairy, egg white and peanuts. ive looked at soy proyein powders butthe ones I have seen have milk in it. Is there an egg substitute that…

this is me. my youngest is 15 months and I'm hoping to lose at least some of the tummy pooch.

I've been kind of wondering about this myself. Ok like today, I ate 2 slices of pizza because we had it and I cant seem to turn down pizza. But I also stayed under my calorie goal of 2000(I get an extra 200 for nursing a toddler). So whats the difference from how I used to eat to now if im still ok to eat pizza every now…

exercising of the minds....got it :)

he's 15 months old. He was tested for allergies because we tried whole milk when he turned one. He broke out in a rash. We tried again, same thing. so we had him tested. I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure he reacts when I eat these things. not physically, but more he doesn't sleep and he gets gas. esp when I eat dairy
-
lol. at least its not just me. If I'm out walking, like not intentionally exercising, I can go forever. I can walk around the zoo pushing my 35 pound 4 y/o and 23 pound 1y/o in the double stroller for hours. But getting me to do 50 min of Insanity? forget it., I like it in theory, but it just takes up too much time.…
-
thanks. I believe it's 500 for a exclusively nursing baby and 200-300 for an older baby. My son is 15-months-old now and eats solids and also drinks soy milk. he really only nurses when he sleeps.
-
bumping. I dont have allergies but my breastfed toddler does: dairy, peanuts and eggs. so getting extra protein is a little difficult for me
-
Thanks! I think im going to cut out the extra cardio and do 10 min pilates DVD and then focus on strength. Im a lazy exerciser. If its too long I find myself not wanting to do it
-
Thanks. Is there such a thing as too much cardio if you are eating the right amount of calories?
-
before nap and bedtime, then he wakes up 2-3 times in the middle of the night. so 4-5 times a day
-
not losing weight or inches. I did increase my calories to 1800 2 weeks ago. but I think I need to add in an extra 200 since I'm still nursing my 15-month-old.
-
what confuses me is that the formula takes into account your activity level but everyone burns differnt amount of cals. I mean, for me, I work out 6x a day for about 30 min each day. I plug it into MFP and it tells me I burn 250 calories. but I see people work out for that same amount of time and burn twice that.
-
I haven't been eating he's only part nursing sincehe's over one but I havent been adding the extra calories in. Just because when I plug my exercise into the MFP data base (I dont have a HRM) It says I burn about 250 a day. I see people with the same TDEE as me burning 2x that so I figured my measly 250 plus 200 for…
