Mom's who use a jogging stroller...
I have a Babies R Us Paseo (essentially a Baby Trend) and I hate it. It's hard to push and the tires go flat quickly. My son is a heavy 30 pounds so the added weight doesn't make it any easier. Not sure if I need to get used to it more as I only run with it once a week and go solo 2x a week. My question, if I hate this…

how many reps and how many sets?
I'm just started strength training at home, by myself. I use resistance bands. How many reps and sets should I be doing? I have read 12-15 reps and 3 sets, but I've also read 5-8 reps and 3 sets.

Does Runkeeper automatically upload your workout to the website? Or do I have to do it manually? Thanks!

Can I use Zombies, Run 2 with a tracking app?
I just downloaded this and I'm kind of excited. I have done C25K and am working through Zero to 10k. I was reading through a few posts and saw someone say she wasn't getting zombie chases when she used it with Map My Run. I normally use Runtastic. Will I have a problem with the app? Or does Zombies track your miles as well?

Help me "healthy up" my family meals
I do a decent job feeding myself, but it's feeding my husband and daughter healthier foods that's hard. For myself, I'm not afraid to try different, healthy recipes. They, on the other hand, are. My daughter is 5 and will only eat certain things. My husband eats a variety, but if it isn't super tasty, he won't eat it. I…

What do you eat to make your protein macro?
Since we are all at high calories, I'm pretty sure everyone's protein count is fairly high. So what do you eat? I need ideas. I suppose I could have 2 shakes a day. I have a unflavored pea protein powder that tastes like *kitten*, and a vanilla protein powder that I apparently gives me a headache. I think from the fake…

cutting out sugar
I have been wanting to eat all the chocolate. I know it's fine for some peeps to indulge once in awhile, but too much sugar makes my skin for crazy and break out. I was doing so good for awhile but a little chocolate here, a cookie there, and I feel like I"m back to square one. I do use stevia or agave in most cases, but…

anyone not eat grains/wheat?
I did well eating clean with no grains, and then I discovered oat mug muffins. I was eating them daily, and my weight loss stalled. I want to get back to eating clean, but I"m wondering if I should avoid oats and grains. Has anyone had success eating just lean Protein, fruits, veggies and fats, and maintained it? (that…

how much cardio?
I have read that lifting heavy is key to eating more and losing, and I see a lot of ladies especially that don't do tons of cardio. I run/walk about 45 min 2x and do other cardio 3x a week. My lifting isn't super long, usually 3x focusing on 3-4 big exercises rather than a big of isolation ones. So how much is too much? My…

starting again. In need of some support
Hi everyone. I have read everything, and *think* I have a good grasp on it. I was doing well before, didn't see changes, but I wasn't starving so I was happy. I fell off the diet wagon, gained a few pounds. This month I'm bad to running and lifting. I had my calories set at 1400 but OMG I'm so hungry. I calculated my BMR…

to carb or not to carb?
Ok, hear me out please. I have done no carbs (well, no grains-cause I eat fruit) and lost quickly. I have also done only whole grains, and...honestly don't remember. I think I lose if I only eat a little, but then eating some starts a downward spiral where I want to eat oatmeal/egg mug muffins all damn day. Still healthy,…

low carbers-what do you eat before and after a workout?
Today I had egg muffins and some grapes, and then 2 hours later, went for a 3.5 mile run. I was exhausted. I need to refuel a little before but IDK what to eat that won't make me get crampy. . Also, what do you eat immediately after?

how to increase endurance
I have gone through most of C25k, and got up to running for 20 minutes straight. I got lazy and lost it. I'm starting back up again, but my problem is (and always was) that my HR goes pretty high and I run slowly. I would love to be able to maintain an easy pace without my HR skyrocketing to 180/190. are there any tips and…

I think I can...
Hi everyone. I'm just looking for some support I guess. I have done no carb, paleo, 1200 calories, 2000 calories, just about everything. nothing works for long. I don't have a ton to lose, I'm 144 and would like to be 130. I hate calorie cutting. Makes me crazy. In January I started eating clean and dropped a couple pounds…

possibly silly question for runners
Do you ever walk? Not just go for a walk kind of walk, but like during your run, take a small break to catch your breathe and then go back to it?

resistance bands too long
This may be a stupid question, but will I sacrifice form if I wrap it around my hand and hold the band instead of the handle? I bought the bands for hubby to use with p90x but I would like to use them too. Apparently I'm kinda short :(

Is there an app to track total miles run?
You know, so I can start it when I start using a new pair of shoes and log how many miles I run on the pair? Sort of a no brainer so I don't have to keep track of the miles myself thanks!

I need tips and tricks for keeping portion size down
I feel like I'm always hungry. I try to eat well, make sure I eat a lot of protein, and limit grains because I find when I eat too much, I'm just even hungrier. I don't eat horribly, my main problem is portion size I think. I eat more than I should, but if then I get hungry soon after if I don't. I'm looking for tips to…

how much cardio?
I am in the 7th week of C25K, so already to the point where I'm doing straight runs. I was running M,W,F but this and last week, I wasnt able to go on Mondays, and it seems like it's going to be a trend. DH is only off Sun and Mon and with so much to do those days, it's sometimes hard to get time for myself until later in…

looking for breakfast ideas, but I can't have eggs or dairy
Hi everyone. I have gone little or no carb before and I always lose weight. I gave up thinking "I need carbs!" However, I noticed when I eat them, I just cant lose weight. I'm going to go back to eating low carbs, eliminating wheat and grains is a big one for me, but im a little stuck on breakfast ideas. Im nursing my 16mo…

Can I lose weight without a HRM?
I have read that the calories burned on this site isn't always accurate but is it possible to lose without a HRM? This week alone I spent $20 on pea protein powder (I have a breastfeeding son who's allergic to dairy) and another $40 on a set of cap dumbbells. Who knew getting in shape would be so expensive?

How do you hit your protein goals?
I mean with so many calories, the amount of protein is high. I need suggestions. I'm still nursing my son, and he's allergic to dairy, egg whites and peanuts. So it really cuts out some major protein I can eat. I just started eating almond butter (and let me tell you, for a PB-loving mama who hasn't had it in MONTHS, that…

Tell me more about NROLFW please
What equipment would I need? How often would I need to do it and how many minutes are the routines? I have resistance bands that I had bought for DH to do p90x with but he never got around to using them. I struggle through my last rep, but I never feel sore the next day. I can tell I'm gaining strength in my biceps…

I just keep getting fatter and fatter :(
I raised my calories around the 5th to 1800. I had a few slipups with eating out and family parties, but for the most part stayed around 1800-2000. I just kept gaining. I raised it again this week to 2000 because im nursing a toddler and should be eating an extra 200 calories. My clothes are tighter. Clothes I could fit…
