LOL true. It just sucks. I eat 1200 calories, I barely lose. I eat 1800-2000 I stay in the same place. I have been running and walking and lifting and NOTHING!!!!!!

I am feeling very frustrated today, like I want to give up on the whole diet thing. Maybe it's just this month, we have function after function going on. Yesterday we had a baby shower for my bff, saturday my dad is taking me and my 3 sisters out for sushi to spend some family time, sunday is my bro in laws bday and we're…

I'm redo-ing week 4 this week (stating tomorrow). last week was super busy and I only was able to go running wednesday so I just planned to redo the week. I'm looking forward to it actually. My run double app conked out on me and on the 5-min run interval, it seemed to stop working. I was running for longer than 3 minutes…

I'm a freelance writer and I work from home. I have a 4 y/o daughter and a 15-monthold son. I fit in exercise whenever I can, when they are napping, when they are playing nicely. There is no such thing as a set schedule for me

I plugged my stats into this calculator. I got 2203 to maintain my current weight and 1872 to lose weight
-
oh ok. Mine was calculated using the Fat 2 Fit tool that gives you a calorie chart based on your goal weight. So the 2077 should be the TDEE for my goal weight, not current weight. so I should just eat 2077 then right?
-
What is the reason for the -15%? Sorry, I think I have read other threads ( I could be wrong here) that say you should eat your TDEE. Fitness Frog is not opening for me but when I used the calculators on Fat2Fit, I got 1352 as my BMR. Moderately active, my calories are 2077. So I should be eating about 1700?

would you mind sharing your recipe for protein powder?

I have not read all the responses, Just clarifying :) I think it will be difficult for you since the issue resides in him, not you. You have done nothing wrong, as far as we know :) If he's insecure, it's something that he will need to get over himself. When you are with him, do you try to show him how much you love him?…

well I uppped my calories as of this week. I have eaten korean bbq, a personal pan pizza and burger king this week. It's been a bad week LOL. But if I eat out one meal, I make sure to eat really light for lunch/dinner and snacks to try to even it out. anywho, I started the week at 145.2. this morning I'm 143.6. I eat…

me! I'm the same height and about 144. I'm doing c25k, I"m on week 3. and I'm doing strength using resistance bands. Havent seen results yet but I'm hopeful. I really need to lose fat off my tummy. 2 kids and 2 c-sections will ruin whatever decent looking belly I had before.

lately I've been loving spinach chopped up and mixed with quinoa. I add anything: chick peas, tomatoes, onions, bacon bits, croutons, avocado. My new fave dressing is Wishbone Greek Vinaigrette I toss it all together for a yummy salad
-
simply amazing. I am not a crier and I teared up watching him continue to try each time he well, then again when he ran.
-
tnx. so the chest strap transmits the data and will also tell you how many calories you burned?
-
oh I see. so to know how many calories you burned you would need the chest strap part right? tnx for answering my questions. I see so much about HRM but I never really understood how they worked
-
so if you don't wear the chest strap, what does the watch part do?
-
ok I'm going to ask a really stupid question so beware. I looked at this HRM on amazon and it's a cute little watch. Are you supposed to wear the cheat strap for it to work? told you, stupid question
-
ok, this is the most understandable explanation I have read. I kept thinking, I understand the numbers, but how in the hell will I lose if I eat 2000 calories, even with exercise. I'm 143 now. If I'm eating the amount of calories to maintain my goal weight which is 125, then my body will naturally lost weight until I get…

Awesome! I have mine set at 1300 now. I plan to add breastfeeding into my diary, giving me an extra 300, and eat most of my calories, bringing me to about 1800-1900 total.
-
The numbers are starting to make more sense for me now. I had my cal set at 1300. I would eat an extra 300 for breastfeeding an older baby, and burn about 200-300 a day. So really, it's about the same if I set it at 1800 (my TDEE and allotted cal are about 2000)
-
I would like to.see answers to this too. I cant eat eggs, dairy or peanuts so it makes it hard to fine easy snacks with protein

Do you wash your face right after working out? I need to or I will breakout. On my back as well. Just another thought, is proactive too strong for you? I have acne prone sensitive but dehydrated skin. Its hard. Anything too strong or drying will cause me to overproduce oil and brakout more

Thanks! I appreciate all your help

This thread is great. I just decided to increase my calories to 2000 today so we shall see how it goes. I was losing at 1300, but its probably because before that I was eating mostly crap. I do find myself very hungry when I eat 1300 calories. I was remembered when I was in high school, I barely ever ate. one weekend, I…
-
they are very close. but the left looks a little better. the right looks more skinny fat
-
I need to ask. How do you eat so many calories? Especially if you are used to eating closer to 1200. I can't eat nuts, eggs or dairy so it makes it harder to get good calories. I mean, im sure I could eat a big Mac and maje an extra 500 cals but im guessing thats not the point here
-
I always wanted to run, but my self-consciousness got in the way. I was always afraid people would look at me like I'm an idiot who doesnt know what she's doing. I just started c25k, finished week 2 yesterday, and I'm slowly getting over it. I still feel weird passing people, and wonder what they think. but I tell myself…

thanks! I think I finally got it! I appreciate the help eta-crap I need to ask. What about breastfeeding? do i account for that? I'm nursing a 1-yr-old, so I dont need 500 extra calories, but if I log it in my diary, it does minus 300 calories. should I be eating 300 more calories a day, so really 2300?
