-
wait, how are you supposed to pronounce them?
-
Until I came here, I thought bump was a way to raise your thread back to the top. on other forums I frequent, people "subscribe" or "sub" to a thread instead of "bump" to find it. Would a different word be better? Like if people started typing "subscribing" instead of bump? Or how about "bow chicka wow wow" each time they…

Ok I gotta know. How? What is you all's eating like? And yourexercise routines? ive had two kids, still nursing a one yr old and struggling to get a handle.on my eating

Oh yes. In fact, its like my fav pick up line. No need for words or drinks, just walk up and pinch me in the butt. Kidding! If my dad did that he woukd get a big fat wtf! Actually so would my husband. Pinching is not ok. Grabbing and a little spanking is ok with me though:)

oooh me! I recently started being active again. I'm 141 and want to get to about 125. I just started weight training using resistance bands and am starting c25k tomorrow

I've had two aell and look exactly the same. Ive been doing cardio, tons of tummy exercises and pilates. Its slowly shrinking but definitely not gone yet.

Pretty bird...pretty bird.
-
off topic, but where was your avi pic taken?
-
girl, you have beautiful cheekbones in that 3rd pic! you can totally see the difference. keep it up!

I downloaded the one for android. Forget which one. I have never been a runner but have wanted to be able to run for awhile now so I'm finally going to give it a go
-
just read through this. that was very interesting. thanks for the link

LMAO about the power walkers. I just asked cause I dont have a HRM (I know, I know. Get one) and was playing around with the exercises log. I'm starting c25k on monday and wondered how running compares to walking since I've been doing walk at home DVDs. At the same speed, it says that walking and jogging burn the same…

got it. thanks.

thanks for this topic! it has been super informative. I did the calculators on Fat2Fit and got 1414 as my BMR. Add in moderate activity, I get 2083. What?! I doubt I will eat that much but I will up my calorie intake. MFP has me at 1200 and I am constantly famished. I'm starting c25k next week and started weight training…

I just bought these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038W0K2K/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01 they come with a ton of ear pieces so it was easy to find a good fit that gives a great seal. plus it was fairly cheap

some great ideas. you guys are awesome!
-
isn't that considered dairy? My son is still nursing and he's allergic to eggs, peanuts and dairy unfortunately.
-
great thread! I'm 5'2" as well. I work from home and I have a 4-y-o and a 14-month-old. I'm still working on the mommy tummy, that's my biggest problem area. I plan to start couch 25k on monday and I just started adding in strength using resistance bands.
-
for those of you who are just starting out, do you do a full body routine or concentrate on 1-2 muscle groups per day?
-
i wrapped it around my hand today but I ended up with redness between my thumb and finger (where the band hit). It's not exceptionally painful, but I can imagine it could hurt over time. The band kind of pulls on my skin when I wrap it around my hand
-
mine are bodylastics as well. THanks for that link it was helpful.
-
oooh me! ckerston@gmail.com thank you so much
-
does it make a difference that I'm using bands? I dont think I can do all the exercises with bands so each day will be shorter. btw, thanks. you've been really helpful
-
got it. so it's probably better to just focus on one muscle group per day then?
-
ok, I'm confused. If there are 2 workouts and three days.....uhm, when do you do what?
-
thanks. I will start with the bands and look into the dumbbells you recommended. I have a 4-y-o and a 1-y-o and a small apartment. I like that I can easily store the bands away where they will not try to pick them up. (and they will! my 14 month old picks up the 1-lb weights at my grandma's and runs around with them) Is…
-
thanks. are resistance bands not as effective? I already have them and it would be nice to not buy any more equipment.

Tomorrow is the day! are we supposed to post here daily? or is there another thread or something?
