  • I love my Body Media Fit! I can't believe the calories I burn or the intensity I work out at. It's really helped me!

  • Yes!!! Gina has some amazing recipes!!!!! I haven't had a bad one yet! Highly suggest her site. The diet soda cake is great!
  • I began training in Olympic Taekwondo in July with my 6 year old. We do it as a mom and son thing, but it's a lot of fun! I am shocked at how much of a work out it really is. We train 3 days a week and I am getting more fit than I have ever been! He's getting the physical therapy he needs (tethered spinal cord release…
  • What do you train in? Olympic Style Taekwondo When did you start? July '11 Who inspires you? My son! He's almost 7 years old. He had a tethered spinal cord (a form of Spina Bifida) and had surgery to release his cord when he was 5. 4 weeks post op he started in TKD in their Tiny Tiger program. When he turned 6 he earned…
  • I weigh every morning... I know I shouldn't but it's a motivator for me. I officially weigh in on Mondays at Weight Watchers, and sometimes I'll stop by WW to check in on Friday to get me through the weekends.
  • I agree with all the previous comments! Take it one day at a time, make mini goals, let yourself indulge every once in a while, use MFP for support, and you can do it! I started at 331.2. I would like to get to 180 and not feel like a liar on my drivers license. So I have at least 150 to loose. This year's goal is…
  • I don't mind the Points Plus system, but I was eating much more calories when I followed it. So I count calories here and go to WW meetings for support, accountability and weigh in. I love it. I have been going for 1 year this week, not missing a meeting, and will be continuing for a long time.
  • I have both. Well I had a BB then it broke and I bought the BMF band at Costco last year (it's on sale for $150 right now, with a 1 year sub). I love it! I hate their tracking site, but I use it for seeing how I slept, steps, physical activity intensity, and how many calories I burned in a day. It's really interesting!…
  • You look great! Congrats and good luck on the next 28!
  • Check this link out. http://www.spine-health.com/wellness/exercise/choosing-right-exercise-ball I have a small one (55 I think) at home, but when I am at Taekwondo, I prefer to use the 75. But I use it to balance on all fours or just my knees. Good luck!
  • I have it in the Q on Game Fly. I just got the original one today in the mail. I can't wait to try it tomorrow! I also got a UFC Trainer game. Fun times!
  • I am 285 lb and I just started the C25k today. I started on day 1 at the gym on the treadmill. I was wondering if I would get looks, and I did. But all were smiles. I think most people would be "impressed" that I was doing it, getting out there and just doing it (thanks Nike). I am going to sign up for my first 5k in 10…
  • YES!!!! I am a 44DDD and I wear an Enell for Taekwondo and am now working on the couch to 5k program (jogging). And they don't move! Well worth the money! Good luck!

  • Total fave!!!
  • Those look delish! I am bookmarking that recipe! Thanks!
  • I use a bodybugg/Body Media Fit band and I go by what it says versus anything else. It knows if I really pushed myself during my Taekwondo or if I just went through the motions. :)
  • I don't like a lot of veggies. I like peas, green beans, corn, artichokes, potatoes, onions, peppers (any), tomatoes (texture). I hate salads, well, it's more like I hate the dressings, which make it palatable. I also don't care for seafood. I am hugely picky. It's been fun finding new recipes. :)
